cuz its wet.How come this thread hasn't been stickied?
Taking note of this...Jinpachi's U/f+4 is such an OP move... Jinpachi is the easier top tier character in the game calling it right now
That move almost breaks the rules lol , find me moves that:Taking note of this...
you forgot to mention all of his super fast WS moves that also a great punishers and do a shit ton of damage. That move almost breaks the rules lol , find me moves that:
1 Lowcrush
2 17 startup frames
3 Medium range
4 Almost impossible to sidestep
5 SAFE
6 57 guaranteed damage with oki followups
7 mid
Couple that with damaging lows that you won't block because U+4 is effin scary , 14 frame launcher on a simple ass input df+2 and good 10 to 12 punishers and ya got a fucked up character.
Only thing that keeps him away from the top 5 is that his mobility is ass and you need to have some patience when defending and block&punish correctly.
So stupid...gawd
Like you said, only reason he isn't top 5 is due to his awful backdash and sidestep...but who cares when you have AP backwards. LMAO!How to play Jinpachi: U4 , D1 and some lows.
Did i mention u4 13524231 times every round?
The recovery on the AP is horrendus and I don't think either moves are safe. On a side note, wtf is with 1+2 being a high when Jinpachi is clearly reaching low? That's f'ed up.Like you said, only reason he isn't top 5 is due to his awful backdash and sidestep...but who cares when you have AP backwards. LMAO!
Top TierWho are the top 5? Who do you think is the most op team?
JOP/Eddie Pistons? I call bs on that , sure Heihachi has a great poke game upclose with df1 and EWGF and long range ff2 but he lacks midrange moves , his db1 is now worthy to throw out because the damage buff but really...if they block it he explodes , heihachi's lows do good damage but they're really unsafe so if they block low you are getting launched.I've been hearing Heihachi could be the best over DVJ.
Lili is fun and has been my main since she appeared in DR, though she's nerfed hard from T6 and is a very mediocre character now. Which is fine.Decided to main Lili, using Sebastian as a filler partner until I find someone better.
Any suggestions? Played Hwo in T3 and Drag in T6 (very briefly) if that matters at all
Why do you think hei is better than dj toolwise? Also Asuka is not that much worse than dragunov , dragunov is top 10 imo and i know what im talking aboutHei is definitely better than DJ IMO. Also Asuka shouldnt be in the same tier as a character like Dragunov. Dragunov is mad in this game.
Dragunov has just better opportunites to get damage considering his rushdown is actually legit, Asuka is pretty gimmicky IMO.Why do you think hei is better than dj toolwise? Also Asuka is not that much worse than dragunov , dragunov is top 10 imo and i know what im talking about
Well , no wonders dragunovs rushdown is better just like asuka is better at keepaway , dragunov is very momentum based and he's gotta to take risks to keep going , asuka pokes pretty good then plays a defensive game to capitalize on mistakes , she isnt about heavy mixups anyways , both solid charactersDragunov has just better opportunites to get damage considering his rushdown is actually legit, Asuka is pretty gimmicky IMO.
Her sweep and safe launchers are good stuff though.

On the Heihachi subject: so for ya it's better a character that has no decent lowcrush , average WS punishment that hasn't got a low that isn't launch punishable?
I prefer a character that has a safe lowcrush ( uf+4 ) , a high&low crushing move that gives a combo on normal hit ( u+3 ) even if it's launch punishable , a mid launcher with easy input ( d+3+4 ) , a low that deals huge damage and it's +5 on hit ( CD+4 ) , a low that isn't launch punishable ( db+2 ) , a good amount of mids ( b+4 , df+1,2 , ff+2 ) , a WS launcher that deals more than 56 damage , a high crush on a simple input that wallsplats and another one that isn't launch punishable ( db+2 ).
In fact DJ can play whole rounds making you micro guessing between safeish mid and lows without risking much , Heihachi even tho he's great upclose with df+1 and EWGF HAS TO risk his balls getting launched if he chooses to go low.
Kazuya hasn't got quick pokes besides df+4,4 , great lows , lacking lowcrushes , so and so highcrush , huge risk / reward mids , the best WS moves and a 13 frames EWGF , oh and he can tag his TP.
Heihachi is clearly powerful , im not saying he isn't and df+1,2 is a move that stand-alone makes a character great , he also got the parry jolly wich is pretty useful.
But he takes big guesses when he goes low.
If i have to make a summary , Kazuya is the more pressure oriented character with the right execution , DJ is the most complete and Hei is a combination between the two.
