NaCl man

Welcome to Akihabara
Went to the Sugamo Namco arcade today. Played a few sets was good fun. There was a torney that was played yesterday and it looks like they were setting up for top 8. here is a small tour of the tekken museum and the arcade.

Justice is a great Tekken 7 player, always coming up with amazing Paul tech, combos and setups.
I've been watching his stream a lot in order to improve my gameplay.

Im definitely back in this game until they fix DBFZ. Trying out Paul. Just getting used to his movements is tricky since im so used to Eddy

My birthday last year was around the time Tekken 7 came out. My friends got together to buy me the Collector's Edition for my present, the one with the Kazuya and Mishima statuette in. I was so touched.

But honestly... after having played TTT2, Tekken 7 felt like a disappointment. And I honestly haven't played it all that much, and I feel rather guilty about it, considering it was a gift from my friends. There's just something about Tekken 7 that feels... lacking. I can't quite put my finger on it.

I usually main Nina who has been my favourite character throughout the series. When Lars joined, I grew to like him as well. And they are both really cool in T7 (though I wish Nina had her black biker suit available, like she does in Story Mode). But in TTT2, I fell in love with Kunimitsu, who is of course nowhere to be seen in T7 (which makes sense since she hasn't been in a Tekken main game since T2). So maybe that's what is lacking.

I'm not a big fan of any of the new characters... and Master Raven I absolutely hate, more or less just being a clone of Raven who I liked so much better. Or maybe I'm just being a bit salty that she took the "female ninja" spot where I'd rather have it was Kunimitsu. Either way, I'm not a fan.

I have long thought of giving it another go, especially now that Noctis is a guest character. I'm not usually a fan of guest characters, especially not when knowing so many Legacy characters are being requested... MKX made me hate guest characters even more... But Noctis is actually a character I like, as I'm a big Final Fantasy fan and I enjoyed FF15 a lot, so yeah... maybe I'll give T7 another chance.

Considering taking my 2nd main for the Eddy's bad MUs. Maybe Katarina or Noctis.

It's all so very confusing.
naclman82 vs claudio

Pfft. I'd be impressed if Kaz wasnt so easy and braindead simple to play... Not like Claudio, who's technicality and difficulty is amongst, if not the, highest in the game. Gawsh.

For realzies though, nice match. I like the black suit vs white suit thing lol.

Fujin and Ermac for MK 11
We actually had this for sale where I work for 20, is it worth it? Haven't really played much Tekken in a while.

Get the PC version. If you can enjoy the game and the learning process even while consistently losing then absolutely. The learning curve and replay value is practically infinite and it's pretty much a personal choice how much time and consistent effort you want to put in. However if you want to bust through a plateau and get better once you feel like you get "stuck" you need to basically play everyday. What I do is I drop the game completely for a few months every now and then, then get back into it and play consistently. Every time I come back it takes less time to get back into the groove.

Yeah I remember that much from previous Tekken's the learning curve being steeper than MK, SF etc but I do like their Injustice, MK A, WWE like customization thing too right? I think Tekken 7 has something I've seen on youtube. I saw Yoshimitsu with a funny hat lol. But yeah I've never played a Tekken game at a higher level, more casually but sounds interesting. I'd probably have to practice a ton first. Thanks for the tip. I was thinking about the Xbox One version since I have that, I'll read more into the reviews for all 3 consoles just out of curiousity. Thanks though!

I'm still playing butalternatong between Akuma and Geese and a, contemplating picking up Master Raven or King. I'm currently taking a break from the game, but to dabble back into it once awhile. I just mentally fatigued after playing a game for over 100+ and need a fresh palate swap to get back into the game. I can honestly say Tekken 7 is in my current top 2 favorite fighting games this gen. You won regret purchasing his game is you love to learn and play with a robust fighting game.

I wouldn't be overly surprised if they announced Tekken 8 in the relatively near future. They seem to release a new Tekken game to arcades once every 4 years (Tekken 6 in 2007, TTT2 in 2011 and Tekken 7 in 2015), so it would fit with that pattern nicely.

Would be awesome since this game doesnt feel satisfying like other Tekkens were.

For Noctis,

Dunno if I posted the Eddy tech OKIs before. I remember posting here the Noctis one against D.Jin.

The Noctis one here is pretty new. I labbed the shit out of him for 3 hours getting used with the combos, and finding OKIs to prevent them from ever reacting with wake-up attacks, while I rejuggle them, quite similar to Eddy's RLX, [4+3] in corner, instead of RLX, 3.
