I'm with everyone else, it shouldn't take this long to have released Tanya. At this point, I'd rather NRS had delayed MKX so they would have enough time to add in the additional non-playable story mode characters. I mean, if they're going to be in the story with a full model and a move list; albeit, a simple move list, then they should have just been included in the game. I mean, Story Mode has appearances from Rain, Tanya, Fujin, Baraka, Sindel, and even Frost. They should have ALL been included as part of the roster from the jump instead of trying to hold them out for DLC. Hell, the Kombat Pack could have still worked, because Goro, Jason, Predator, and Spawn (if they had gotten permission) probably would have been better choices as DLC characters and would have made more sense. Goro is a staple, but he isn't even part of the story, while the other three are characters are guest characters. Hell, even the line up I listed, minus Spawn and just replacing him with Tremor, would have been a better option. But nope, NRS just trying to gouge money from fans with a season pass. Smh

A. Rain, Baraka and Sindel all had their MK9 movesets so that's obviously why they weren't included. And most of Tanya's moveset if not all of it was copied from other characters moves already in the game. They won't be DLC, or at least Rain won't because as Ed said there's no repeat DLC.
B. They did actually also get permission for Spawn but either they didn't use him or are going to use him if there's a second Kombat Pack.
C. Goro is in the comics and is actually a big part in Kotal's backstory, and he's the preorder bonus because he's not been playable in ages and is usually a boss character so this is the first opportunity for people who didn't have a specific version of whatever game was the last you could play him to play him for the first time.
D. Maybe if the Tanya community hadn't been crybabying over how their character, in an alternate timeline, didn't match the exact skin colour of their character in the original timeline they'd have their character by now. You can't ask for a visual revamp of your character and then expect them to release them in the, what you feel is, original release date.

Be grateful you guys at least get your character, be grateful that NRS actually listened to you and redesigned the character to appease just you: the minority, be grateful that you at least have an idea of your characters variations and be grateful that out of all the female characters they could've put in the Kombat Pack (because lbsh they needed to have a female) they chose YOUR character.
