A-fucking-men. lol I'm glad I'm fortunate enough to not have ran into any cheaters. NRS games don't seem to have them running as rampant as other games do. From MK9 all the way to MK1, I don't recall having ever ran into a cheater.

In tekken 8, i ran into one, that was running autoblock + victor, i still owned him, guess what he did?
Bro hacked my psn account from krossplay and hijacked it, bought a lot of psn games on my behalf, i had to contact sony which restored everything 3 days after, fortunately i was able to recover everything but boy that shit was dangerous and i wanted to punch someone in the face, he also left some residual ID of himself, i know for a fact that the fucker is brasilian.

Idk man, If I was NRS and this "rumor," spread this fast and did this much damage to the games reputation, I'd maybe say something to course correct it. Especially if I was about to release 2 more DLC characters that no one is going to buy bc they're 80s B tier characters and especially aren't going to buy if they think the game is dead.

Yeahhhh I’m getting the T1000, screw Conan. Why would they announce it prematurely when they still have stuff that they’re going to release? That will kill any interest left in people that actually do play it. They’re gonna have to announce it after the last of DLC if the rumor is true.

I do believe it’s the reality of the situation. I’m not against it either. We as MK fans deserve way better than their predictable bs. Never again will I fall for it. Fooled me once with MK11, fooled me twice with MK1…

I think it's probably their most ambitious title in terms of gameplay and creativity. It was released far too early though and was a minor disaster at launch.

Imma still play it cause it's fun. Isn't that why we play these things? For fun?

I think the FGC is in a strange place at the moment. You've got NRS players nostalgic for MK11, you've got SF players talking about SFV, and even Tekken players are glazing Tekken 7.

Are the Strive players happy? Who knows.

There was reportedly another leaker who corroborated the story of this game's support and KP3 being cancelled, so I'd say it is 100% the sad reality.

An online associate of mine who used to run a (now defunct) Mortal Kombat fan site said his contact within NetherRealm Studios told him it's a half-truth: there is more content planned/coming, but an additional Story expansion has been cut. So support for the game is not coming to an end after T-1000, but it is going to be scaled back from what NetherRealm Studios originally planned (which also seems to have been the case for Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate).

Time will tell, of course, what really happens. The reality is, we just don't know for sure one way or another.
