I wouldn't describe making sacrifices to do less than characters that don't have to as a weakness

That's your problem Myles. You don't care about what stuff actually is, you just randomly define things to be what you want them to be.

How is that not a weakness? You trade that for strengths in other areas and that's how you make a diverse and balanced cast.

So let me get this straight: Myles chose the character who is built around having to store fireballs as a core gameplay design mechanic and yet feels that storing fireballs is her downfall?

Myles's wording kinda sucks, but I kinda get what he's saying. Juri's issue is her game just doesn't really start until she gets stores. Until then, she's really vanilla. Once she gets them, though, she's finally doing what she wants to do. Even then, not having one store completely changes how you handle your options altogether.

She's a really weird character. I think she has loads of potential, but she's insanely resource dependent and has something extra that she needs to build at the start of every round. It's not flawed, just an obvious weakness the character is designed to have.

• If the characters neutral is weak why doesn't she have vortex/setplay?

• If you have to store specials for oki and damage why is it worse oki and damage than normal characters?

• If the V-trigger isn't a win button why is it 3 bars?

Juris neutral is not as weak as you try and say it is. Nor is her oki or damage, and A 3 bar trigger has pluses as well as minuses and hers is actually pretty damn strong.

She's not top tier but she's good enough to be viable.

Bruh I just cannot deal with the ranked grind. Too many half screen tastus (or other moving special move), multiple jump ins, dashing in instead of taking their time. I'm here playing F.A.N.G. so that's easy to combat but it's just multiple matches in a row. How do you do it?

Well, its just a practice thing.. rounds played and time spent in combat, that kinda thing. its not that Im terribly concerned with my rank (i dont care at all) but I have a bad habit it researching and watching and reading.. but just not playing that much. =/
