So Cassandra seems really insane, her throw game is amazing; none of her throws are bad and she has a ton of command throws. She has a +2 on hit unreactable low and a KD on hit unreactable low. Her lows also have the annoying property of recovering in crouch but being around -14-16. She has great range on a lot of her moves, she’s evasive, a ton of her moves put you in forced crouch on block. She’s safe or + feeling on a lot of her moves. She has highs but there is a mid follow up that always has a different GI timing/you can’t RE one option; the mids in these situations are also all safe or neutral on block.
Her damage output is on par with Gloomy Tira, especially once she has Divine Favor (DF). She also builds DF pretty easily and her CE does 95 damage with DF. Her aGIs are solid, not as good as Sophie’s or X’s though. All of her self guard damage moves are insanely good. They’re safe and do a lot of damage. It is worth noting that her 214 aGI also damages her guard stamina.
Honestly with her damage and the way her frames feel and have turned out (she’s safe on almost everything but all of her angel step moves are -18 or more) she feels super unga bunga. You pretty much can’t press a button without hitting a good move. She has mid step kills for days that are all safe and + on hit. Her punish game isn’t as good as Raphael/Sophie/Taki/Gloomy Tira but it is definitely up there.
She will be deleting her own guard stamina so if you play someone with good guard crushing (Sieg, Mi-Na, Raphael, Azwel, etc.) you’ll probably crush her a lot.
Her side step is alright, her backdash/walk are atrocious, they may easily be the worst in the game. Her forward run speed is insane though, she closes distances extremely quick.
Also her Soul Charge is BROKEN, I think the only soul charges that even get close to comparing are Mi-Na, Sieg, and Purple Amy’s. She hits you and accidentally does 100 damage pretty much, that sums up Cass’s SC. Her CE is great but you’ll probably never see it because her SC is pretty much like Soul Calibur terrorism. I would highly recommend labbing your character’s options against Cassie and where you can duck/RE/GI against her because she is SIGNIFICANTLY more pick up and play friendly than Amy.
