yeah im on ps4 everybody and their mama is groh lol look at my videos ive played a few hell my first challenge was a groh player.

It’s very annoying there’s no training mode. I get it’s just a beta but being there’s no way to test stuff it just makes learning anything frustrating.

Agreed. Having a lot of fun, but I wish there was at least an indefinite rematch option so you could pair up with a bud and learn the basics. I have Yoshimitsu's basics down but trying to get used to certain normals/bnbs is annoying during a match.

So far the netcode has been hit and miss, sometimes it's great others it's nigh unplayable. As others have mentioned it does take awhile to find a match. The one thing i'm really iffy on is reversal edge, I really don't understand it. I've decided to just block or sidestep until I actually get my hands on the game and am able to mess with it. Regardless, game is fun as hell and can't wait for the 19th. Also played Max on stream which was tight

Decided to go with Kilick. Been playing for an hour and haven't had any problem getting matches. However I've only fought against Groh's for the entire hour, lol. No bullshit I've played 8-10 sets or so and they're all Groh's xD. Still fun though!

I didn't have any real issues getting games when I played around 5 something today. Longest I waited was about a minute, but I also have all the settings relaxed for region and connection quality. Played Anericans, French and I think Japanese players. Lag was mostly from Americans though oddly enough.

Just played a Zazmosol and fuck that guy is fast for his range. Also quick launchers on walnut?! Fuck that character lol

Siegfried is by far the most broken character in the beta. He has like 100 high low moves and combos that lead to 40% dmg into resets that are also 50/50’s... L O L

Also why does everyone 1 and done in a beta? That makes zero sense. People lose, they leave. They win, they leave. Like... what?

Everyone I've played has always rematched.


I wish they would have given a basic tutorial about the game mechanics. What do I do in the stupid slow down thing? How do I do a super? Why do I randomly active the fire mode?

It’s always the close matches. If I win a close match, they leave. If they barely edge out the win, they bounce. Are they seriously taking the BETA RP’s seriously or do they just not want to lose? Shit like this irritates the hell out of me because it makes no logical sense.

Personally, only had 2 one and dones all night. Maybe you are scarier than me.

Still kind of confused though. Also annoyed because it lists buttons not the actual button combinations. I immediately remapped the controls and still don't know what some things are.

Think I'm going to try Zasalamel today. Kilick's cool but his Soul Charge is tricky to utilize. Maybe once I wrap my head around this game I'll go back to him.

I see we Lanterns think the same :D Kilik was my first pick too, just after looking at the characters.

I think I tried at least once each character. My second pick would be Xianghua
