Seattle,WA Official MK9 Scene General Discussion

This week is another really good tournament week. There's a gameclucks one going on in Seattle Thursday, which i'll link below, and another Salty Runback one this Sat i believe.

edit: Oh, and Great. Do you think it would be possible to do another Friday session since Tourney is on Sat?

I found the location with google. I'm curious if the people we played a few weeks ago actually are in the scene or if they just play a little on the side.

gameclucks is in lynwood. lol not seattle. thats where neighbor and hysteria from halo go play at and stuff, its not that great of a place but its got a good game scene as far as competitive, well from what i remember from h1/h2 competitive days

Hey guys, sadly I dont think there will be any competition at the gameclucks tournament. Its historically been essentially the exact same guys who go to the Best Western, but ever since the best western came back as a venue people just choose to go to BW instead. Plus some dubious things happened with venue fee's last time at Gameclucks.


Just as an example for the tournaments three weeks ago BW had like 120+ ish for all games.....i think GC had 8 and that was for sf..honestly id be surprised if ANYONE showed for mk there...hahha so Id save the trip and just come to the event on saturday.

P.S. Also about this session on friday, Id love to show up if thats alright, i dont have an address but if its ok can you PM me about it ^^?

If that's the case I probably won't be going then. Was already sketch on if i was going, I think i'll save the money for saturday :p

As far as information goes, PM Greatone and he'll give you his # and address. If he doesn't get back to you by friday afternoon i'll pm it to you.

Gentleman, sorry for making this so last minute but it's because I was fighting as hard as I can for tomorrow off, but it seems I won't be able to host for the next two weeks. We have this goddamned "Lions Club" taking over the whole city and what with me working at the largest hotel in this whole area I of course have to work mandatory overtime. I really am sorry.

But luckily when we're able to host again, Sweets will be back and I'll have two of my partnas from NY here. They're both just fighting game beasts but only one of them play MK. Doesn't matter though, this guy would put Sha down so hard... So any way once again I apologize and I hope to see y'all two weeks from now.

It's cool man, totally understand. Anybody else got a place to possibly host for Fri? Pagan, maybe we could go to that place you're always talking about?

I'll probably be there around 730 or 8 then. It's not 21+ is it? Also how much does it cost?

Obviously anyone that was wanting to go to Great's should should come, more people the better, especially with the tourney tomorrow. come get your practice in!

Yo this is Lord_Raptor, the Ermac player with the dreads. Totally forgot I had already made an account here. Tournament was alot of fun and I plan on definitley placing better during the next one.
