Seattle,WA Official MK9 Scene General Discussion

Hey Guys this is Duncan/MrK/The Kitana/Cage/Now Cyrax player. Anyways I talked to Mpariah a little at SRB about how I am trying to have some sessions in the future since I have my house in Redmond to myself for awhile, and he said he'd be down. I know Cole (the Raiden) and Storms (the kunglao) would be down too, as well as a lot of my street fighter friends who are trying to learn.

ANYWAYS! I am just trying to get a consensus on who here would be interested and what day would be optimal for people. Might even have one this week. So yeah just let me know.

I'd be down for showing up anytime, but seeing how I don't have a car currently it'd eb tough for me getting up there and back. I aint spending another five hours waiting across the street from the Union Gospel Mission and passing out on the street waiting for the bus.

Yussir I'm still down for whenever. Gotta get that practice in before EVO.

Hey everybody! This is Matt/Matsuura/The Reptile/LiuKang/Now QuanChi player. Thanks to everyone for koming out to the SRB tournament and putting up with the disorganized bracket nonsense again! We kan definitely get things sorted out better next time, and we may also introduce some new features, such as Start Times and Disqualification. I'll post up the results from the tournament here as soon as I get a chance, and I'll post a link to the recorded match videos once they're uploaded as well.

As for practice sessions, I'd be down for MrK's sessions too, even though he lives out in the middle of nowhere. I am still planning on hosting a session of my own before EVO, most probably on the 22nd (the Friday before EVO) of this month. As for other sessions, weekday evenings and weekend mornings/afternoons work best for me. I'll bring the KOOL-Aid.

Btw who here is all going to EVO? Just wanted to know who else will be down there repping the Northwest with me!

I believe I asked this at SRB but are their any MK players in the Tacoma, Puyuallyup, Spanaway area? Also is their a IRC channel for competitive MK?

Weekends work best for me. Friday or Saturday

Hey guys, a little last minute but thinking of having an mk bbq thing at my place tmmrw. The time would probably be after 6, already talked to cole and he'd be bringing a setup, but I was wondering if anyone has a non-laggy monitor they could bring. Anyways still not 100% but its more than likely so just trying to get everything accounted for.

I'd be down. I don't have a monitor but I do have a 360 with hdd and shit. What console do you run, and what console will Cole be bringing btw? I don't have a ps3 stick, just a couple 360 SE's, so hopefully some people can bring some.

Oh also, any chance I could get your address? if you could just PM me it or post here that'd be great..

I'm down with the bbq so hook me up with contact/location info. Let me know what you want you need food, beverage or setup wise and I will see what I can do.

Alright guys so Im definitly having it now. Try to be there around 7ish. I think we are good on set ups at this point...one ps3 setup one xb set up. Really what we need is monitors. I have a small CRT, and i think Cole is trying to get storm to go who has a monitor without sound = /..but another monitor would be great.

As for food ect, any sorta of burgers/ buns....or better yet beer would be great ^^.

Hey guys, so now we have 2 evo monitors and all that nice stuff and 1 PS3. However can someone else bring a PS3 as well? no one really plays on xb and thats all i have + it isnt patched = /.

K c yall there!

(P.S. yeah bring your own controllers just to be safe too, i have my own TE, and i told someone else to bring one, but everyone else im not sure if they bringing theirs or not.)

....oh! actually mPariah I just read u said u have an xb and not PS3....that would be fine too, I do have a xb TE and can tell cole to bring his.

Sweet, I'll bring the 360 then. I don't have any HDMI cables (Just regular) for it though so if we need them for those monitors then somebody will have to bring one :(
