So far the KB combos I’m trying out are only good for not having to use meter. Too bad you can only use the 212 one in a combo and it’s an ender. The D2 and f34 counter hit KB’s just don’t net that much damage for Scorpion. Especially since when a KB happens the BS buff goes away.

Again, I’ll be adding anti air combos and anti breakaway combos once I get the chance. As well as corner combos, etc.

Just asking in case opponent is low on health but has 2 bars of defensive meter.

Very nice idea I did not think about that not breakable option!
Damage is not that bad either if it really matters.
I find me that situation frequently its nice not to give option if dont neccessary.
 
I now prefer spear or 212+4 with the 2nd variation as I feel it gives better oki.
I'd like to add to that that 212+4 on one bar combos is also safe from people breaking away from the combo. For example: 11xxHP AMP, f3, 212+4 is better than the Death Spin ender because if you go with DS instead of 212+4 you get punished in case they roll out while the 2+4 ender is hit-confirmable especially against break away and leaves you in an instant oki situation with the opponent having to take that since they just spent all their meter.

Probably his best ender, if I wasn't so shit at connecting it xD

Death Spin ender has the advantage that you get a bit of breathing room and can reapply burning spear, but I think it's not safe against every character like 2,1,2 or f3,4

To be honest I dont want breathing room with Scorpion when I get my good oki for another F3 pressure or anything else.
It can depend on the match up but according to my experience it is good to get the momentum. F3 is good for it... I get a throw? F3 can go again... mini "vortex" lol. Bait wake up... go again.

Nice finding I did not do the F3, 212+4 ender for 1 bar. Probably due to the positioning. Or just did not play much enough yet. :)

I mean f3 is alright, but it's nothing like the shit Liu Kang can do to you.
 
I am just learning scorpion so please forgive me if I am missing something but, even with Burning Spear active, the Death Spin ender is giving me less damage than ending with a vanilla Spear, since we aren't amping death spin.

Anyone else noticed that?

It probably depends on which bnb you are using. I think deathspin ender on for example f32, ex tele, f3, f32xxds does more than ending in spear iirc

I was watching nlbc top 8 and noticed that empr Kombat (scorp player) was using starter, ex tele, f3, 11xxspear, into whatever as his standard bnb. Is this better (specifically from an execution/consistency vs extra dmg standpoint) than starter, ex tele, f3, f32xxspear? Reason i ask is because i have not labbed on ps4 and only on switch handheld (where scorp's combos have some frame slowdown making the execution a bit more inconsistent) but on switch i am having some issues with consistency on the "f3, f32" after the ex tele. The nice thing on using f3, f32 is if you want to get solid damage on a 1 bar you can end in ds and all of the hits connect. I guess ill have to lab on ps4 to see if the consistency issue on switch is only due to the slowdown issue (which is very possible). Just curious as to what you all are using as your 100% consistent bnb that gives the best balance of easy execution vs max dmg.
 
I'd call that a tournament combo, in which you rather not fuck up than having optimal damage.
Personally I just keep doing the best combos even if I fuck them up and one day it just clicks and becomes consistent.

I also dislike the DS ender because it pushes them out and gives them room to breathe, which I usually don't want. I prefer 212+4 (or Spear), even though that one is tough to link for me, it just does a little less damage than other enders and puts the opponent into instant oki.

No that's the combo I was doing when I discovered spear ender did more damage, like 3% or something. Additionally it is just easier to do and the positioning is better for oki.
