Sup guys and gals!

Played a bit at launch and yea

so In getting back in to reiko and was wondering what I need to punish with etc

So it would seem Reiko gets a one bar mid command grab off of EX run into air command grab. Or am I mistaken? I set the CPU to neutral duck and I still catch 'em with it. It even does the 21% damage his two-bar command grabs do.
Yeap. Also his enhanced run cancel grab comboes off some normals on hit, mainly b3, and f1.

It is a 2 bar grab; you have to enhance the run and then the grab.

B3 is the new check attack of choice.

And, yes, the person working on Reiko has a Tremor fetish; I want to be able to do the up punch-like combo with another kameo.

Why do I enjoy playing kameo Sektor? Heh.

I don't think this is correct. I've done the enhanced run into grab twice in a row and I believe Rewind does it multiple times in quick succession in matches as well.

Edit: just double-checked. It's only one bar.

I'd go with his s3 all day. It combos into EX run~air command grab.

Although b3 is useful for when you're at its applicable range, like you suggested.

Reiko gets a nice 39% into +40~ territory off of EX running stance into air command grab.

EX run into command grab~Tremor's uppercut~121. It seems to range from being +44-47. I don't know what causes the variation. Either way, that's safe-jump territory.

Just picked up Reiko, and I was checking to see what charaters the S1 into Ex run command grab. That tick throw is soo good. But it whiffs on a couple characters anyone have the data on who it does and doesn't work on. I would check my self, but still blown my characters cant get a buff.

I haven't had time to try the patch yet, but from watching some of Rewind's recent matches, Reiko is looking good! If anyone has any impressions, I'm all ears.

NRS has done a good job of transforming Reiko from a hybrid zoning and command grab character to a pure command grab character. Everyone agrees that he has been vastly improved.

However, the top 10 conversation seems far-fetched to me.

A character like Homelander deals less damage than Reiko, but he can command grab you from a much farther range. In terms of space control, lasers are much better than nerfed stars. f+4 remains the best normal attack in the game.

Ghostface is a command grab character who has a Batgirl-style vortex. In footsies, Ghostface's f+2,1 is as good as, if not better than, any of Reiko's long-range normal attacks.

T-1000 is a command grab character who has Freddy's mid-range spike. LOL! In fact, T-1000's spike is superior to Freddy's in certain ways (i.e., faster startup and more damaging conversions because of Mavado).

I fail to see how Reiko is on the same level as these character.

It would seem his mid air command grab can be low profiled. I'll have to test it more, but this Tanya player I faced earlier made it whiff more than once with a d1.
It can be was facing a few ppl this weekend and this happened

going to be interesting how ppl pull it off once the community is wise to the antics..

But it’s mad fun to do!

So as far as punishing moves goes

it’s been a while but is it f124 or running knee etc?
Punish with s3 whenever possible. It has the best scaling and startup. His b3 scales the same, but is slow af in comparison. Don't punish with f124. If you can punish with f1, use s3 instead.

You use f12(4) to punish people who like to neutral duck after a d1 or d4.

If his running mid air command grab can be low profiled, he's fucking cooked if people start getting good at making the proper read. I'd love it if NRS made the god damn thing a true mid.
