So buzzing for my boi Rain!! Water powers have so much potential in fighting games. If they've treated him like Fujin -who doesn't just have wind powers, his whole moveset gives him that dynamic/airborne flair- then he's gonna be dope. I'm picturing a very fluid, T'ai Chi Ch'uan looking style where he attacks more with water rather than his fists!

Seriously, this Rain is the best ever, so badass, the best Rain version ever, this character now gained all respect she lacked before, is not a meme character anymore .... they nailed with this look appearance to him, major props to NRS !

I am VERY glad to see kataars/Katars in mk11!

The only other games that really utilizes a Katar/Kataar are soul calibur 6 and Brawlhalla (in Wich I main a Katar user)

Following Mileena he will be the second character I try out. MK Trilogy Rain is some of the most fun I have ever had in a FG, so if he becomes my new main here I'll gladly take it!

This is the best Rain has ever looked. Armageddon and MK9 were very much reimaginings of the UMK3 classic ninja, but weren't super demi-god princely (though Armageddon did the princely a bit better with the crown piece of the mask). MKX was sorta princely, but made me think more of a male brothel escort than a demi-god.



This perfectly captures MK ninja outfit with the perfect amount of flair and style to clearly indicate that ninja is a regal motherfucker. An A+ job from NRS.

I hope he has a skin where his hair is showing, like in MKA and MKX.

Man his design is so good. They really did a fantastic job of combining his Royal Princely aspect with his Ninja roots. I‘m really interested to see how he plays, hope we see gameplay soon!

The best part of this game is NRS is really highlighting different cultural weapons and aesthetics. I am 100% here for it, Rain looks absolutely stunning.

Really looking forward to how he plays. I really hope he has a rushdown, high chip damage variation with his katar.

Mk9 came out in 2011 but I’m happy he’s back!
