Raiden's Fatalities, Brutalities and Krushing Blows

At this point I can replicate all of his brutals but Brutal Bolt and Karma now. I have Brutal bolt officially unlocked too, if that matters. Not sure what the deal is.

Karma works as my post describes.

I find that I can do fatalities that I haven’t unlocked yet, does that apply to brutalities too? As long as I know the requirements I can do them right?

Before I leave for dinner, the requirements are like, 125 fatal blows, 150 krushing blows, 50 flawless wins, etc.

1 hour later I come back and they "hotfix" the tower and its like, 25 fatal blows, 25 KB's, 15 flawless wins. LOL!

So yeah, i'm out of answers for now. I'm gonna finish this platform shortly and try these brutals again and post results.

Unlocked Karma. Got it to work, as well as Brutal Bolt!

And guess what, both descriptions are wrong as hell! lmao

Karma says life must be under 30% and from long range. Nope.

Brutal bolt says b,f+3, R1 after quick charge and a mercy. NOPE.

Turns out, Karma doesn't require 30% or less life, BRUTAL BOLT DOES. lmao
And guess what? Brutal bolt doesn't require a mercy OR quick charge.

Guys, I think the dudes at NRS need to put the peace pipe down long enough to get this shit straight. I'm gonna update this post and the OP when I upload these videos shortly.

Do you need to amplify lightning strike? Or just combo into it?

Neither. They hotfixed it and brutal bolt a few times. Currently Karma/LS just requires final hit from LS on a standing opponent (not an anti air)

Oh I see what you mean. I guess my answer should have been "either". A stand alone LS or comboing into it both works. As long as they are still standing (so short combos only).

Should be all 8 brutalities that I know of. Haven't seen or heard of any others.

The krypt has most of them. Character tower floors 2 and 4 have brutalities. I don't recall getting any outside that. Check the ones listed in the OP to see which ones you get from Towers.

Alternate. As soon as you see the grab has connected just scrub your thumb back and forth across 1 and 2.

For the Zap Zap brutality, when exactly are you supposed to hit 1 and 2? I tried hitting them right when the throw animation started and it didn't work.

I find it most consistent to press 1 and 2 rapidly after he’s actually grabbed the opponent. So wait until you see the grab connect, then spam the buttons

I had a hunch at work today about the Electric Fly brutality (Planted), and whether or not cancelled EF's counted towards the requirement.

And they do. You can do 4 cancelled EF's (b,f+3~hold, down down) and finish them off with an amped EF holding down and the brutality works.

I've been trying to get his electric fly KB to work, but it didn't always work. Even at full screen. Then suddenly, it triggers when I do one right up in the AI's face. Going to test if its a punish instead of full screen or something. But it seems off a bit. Anyone confirm?

That's unfortunate, it let me do a fatality I haven't unlocked but doesn't unlock it til I find it. So lame lol

Hmm. It does seem to require a bare minimum distance away, like Brutal Bolt does. I was able to technically perform Karma with the "close" input (d,f+2~B), but only after a combo that staggered them to a medium distance.

I tested in mid screen with b+1,2~Lightning Strike (d,f+2~B) and the Brutal worked.
I tested in the corner with 1,2~Lightning Strike (d,f+2~B) and it didn't work.

Final analysis: which input you use doesn't matter. Only that they are not close (I'd say at least jab range).

Really wish NRS can push out a patch soon, not to buff or nerf characters, just to fix hitboxes, and change up all the brutality requirements so they work as intended and can be executed consistently. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been mashing 1+2 during a front throw that didn’t result in a brutality, how many times I’ve hit lightning strike just as they die and it does trigger the brutality. I’m fine with having requirements to fish for, but they have to be consistent and CORRECTLY STATE WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO, NOT SOMETHING THAT BLATANTLY WRONG AND WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT FOR OURSELVES
