My guess is he won't. This is cross-promotion for the upcoming CW show, and next game they'll finally go with Static instead.

Win pose is awesome as well

Guessing the gear moves are the static trap box, the air tele and the ground smash thing

He looks dope af! I was already excited for him but OMG, his super turning into an Elder God Dragon that is beyond insanely cool or just a lighting Dragon either way dope as hell!! This is what separates NRS from other developers, the amount of thought, creativity these guys put into characters and super moves are just level 100.

And the Black Lightning skin is a great nod to a requested DC character so hopefully that shuts up a lot of those "OMG Raiden wasted slot" people. I did notice, they didn't show Black Lightning's super hmmm could it be different than Raiden's? If not still cool, but as both an MK and DC fan they didn't have to make that skin so props NRS. Both look amazing and I will be maining the God of Thunder once he's out, so happy he has his teleport back that's going to be a game changer in this game. Though I'm sure his air port is a gear move no doubt, though if it's a regular special HA, sign me up! Everytime they impress me with a crazy looking super, they out do themselves the next time. Easily one of the best if not the best Supers in the game.

thats what bothers me dude they essentially made sure he wont be in the next game unless they are gonna revamp. I just hope they dont repeat this.

If it helps grodd and braniac died. They aren't coming back. I don't think my main cheetah will make the cut either. Enjoy it while you can.

They would also make less money. Raiden will sell better than any of the DC DLC characters, guaranteed.

What's with all you bitter insecure kids popping up? You think you won some sort of battle or something lmao? Peoples opinions for the most part including my own hasn't changed. There were some cool things and it's okay to admit that with you thinking "waaaaa I won ze debate XD"

Black Lightning is going to look REALLY weird with that super/outro.

I rather Hellboy had been next. I think it would had actually been more fitting to release him in October since Halloween and demons.

How would it make less money? If Raiden is as popular as NRS seems to think he is, they'll be able to sell people on both the premiere skin and the character DLC itself.

Yo, It has passed 1 minutes since i've seen the trailer while posting this message, ever since that super, my jaw is still fucking open, WTF, that was hype.

It appears Black Lightning has some specials for him only as well.

Was literally going to come in here and type this. They were too cheap to create moves specifically for black lightning.

the problem with that also becomes then why doesnt every other premier skin have their own unique moves. Also then why arent they their own slot? It made complete sense for power girl but thats it.

Imma be completely honest. Ive always hated Raiden's animations which is a big reason why I didn't play. I think I would have much rather seen Black Lightning as a Black Adam premiere skin. Seeing him with Raiden's animations just looks goofy to me.

Or... he coulda been his own character. That also would been pretty good. :DOGE

As i expected, Raiden is going to be the most hype pick in the game. Am so looking forward to see what Rewind will do with him. Also am so hype for that Raiden in Mk11.

Obviously black lightning skin wasn't even planned for Raiden, He was better suited as a Black Adam skin but crybabies were crying very loud lul, so there you go.
