Look I understand the notion that you shouldn't let rage quitting bother you that much because it's not a big deal and it's so ubiquitous with any online play. But I'm certainly not gonna pretend it's a compliment just because I can't do anything about it. I tend to take compliments as compliments (go figure). I can find some comfort in knowing I made them give up but it's still disrespectful. Again it's nothing new and nothing to get hung up on but let's not get to a point where we forget that a bad thing is a bad thing.

No... that's not what I meant. How do you know that a disconnect doesn't result in a quitality just like actually quitting out of the game? What information are you pulling from to suggest that a disconnect avoids the quitality?

Unless I am mistaken, IGAU had leave counter that could be still sidestepped by plugging. After all, Quitality is just an animation, a way to close the match smoother than with "error message" if opponent leaves. Strictly speaking, even though it may indicate NRS' attention to the matter, it doesn't confirm anything. All we have is NRS' track record on one hand and hopes that they gradually improve their games in terms of features and attention to details on the other.

MK9 and injustice were the same in that regard. If you simply just left an MK9 game you got a loss as well (if i remember correctly. it's been awhile since I've played online). The fact that they are addressing this at ALL in mkx leads me to believe that all ways of leaving the game will result in a quitality. Otherwise, why even put the quitality in if everyone just home screens the game to avoid a loss in the first place? It would be a waste of money even making the quitality.

So basically... there is no evidence to suggest that home screening or unplugging WON'T result in a loss. You may be right, but we're going to have to wait until the game comes out, or hope that a dev answers this question before release.

I am not a comp sci or IT specialist, but I would bet the system is going to stick you with a loss no matter how your candy ass chooses to terminate the connection. If a professional can please explain why this would not work, that'd be great, but otherwise I see no reason why this shouldn't be achievable.

Crossfire...we had really good games. I wish we could play more,you are definitely the best deathstroke on steam. No,I don't play mk. I don't think I'm going to play it. By the way the guy who quit on me 9 times in a row is fatalist(lol). And the idiot who waited for the countdown is Prestige 1. Also,m16uel loves to quit on me. Lol I don't know any of the people you mentioned.
I can't see people in the rooms it always says zero people in rooms. I can only play private matches.

And i hope the games don't desync...often times a lag spike kills the. I have not lost a session with anyone since a few weeks ago,I'm looking for a challenge finally

Actually that is way too harsh. The person may literally kill someone because of that. I dont want fighting games to be a reason of mass homicide. I know what im talking about,i know what people are capable of

Nothing's going to happen dude. Just suck it up and deal with it. They already get the automatic loss and you get the win. Makes the winner's job that much easier. Problem solved.
