"Strength isn't everything"
Of course you can get lucky, and just randomly be one step ahead of the pace and just rip people to shreds, and other times you can go 8-14 with every death being a back shot.
I have games where i screw around. Im fond of using a b23r, or whatever the burst fire pistol is; with 5 or 6 perks. Its pretty fun. I just want to be able to flip the switch when I am playing with friends in games that matter.. I just cant. My score per minute sucks, and I get blown up in close quarters a lot because of my connection or something I dunno.Lightweight is actually one of the best perks in Blops2. And unlike fighting games, worrying about how good your k/d is in any shooter can make you better player. If you always set yourself to a high standard it's more than likely going to stick. But worrying about your k/d too much can take away from the fun factor :/
Story of my life.. Its so inconsistant, and yet the group of guys a play with do so well, so often. I just dont want to be the weakest link, but for gods sake I dont really know what else i can do. I suppose I could get intimate knowledge of spawn points..Of course you can get lucky, and just randomly be one step ahead of the pace and just rip people to shreds, and other times you can go 8-14 with every death being a back shot.
Just as long as you aren't as good at call of duty as you are MK.guys add me on ps3 if you like to play free for all and that game in which there is 3 teams of 3 people just say you are from tym when you sent me the req
Two things. I don't suck, and its not "easy" to be a good cod player. If you suck at the easiest shooting series ever then dont play shooters.
BO2 is great but its still COD
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply like this. I will spend a little more time exploring the maps, and the one thing I really need to do is determine the spawn points for the game types I play. Is there an internet resource available for this? This is a grey area question. I will give my input and advice.
1. Use top tier weapons, This game did a good job of making more guns viable, but if you are an active player, i recommend sub guns, The MSMC and Skorpion Evo seem to be the best, with the PDW taking a very honorable mention. If you like to for lack of a better word "camp" assault rifles will be okay, but know your maps and what sort of ranges you will be engaging at.
2. KNOW YOUR MAPS: No i dont mean know where you are on the map, learn each map inside and out, not only learn two or three different ways into a certain building/chokepoint. But learn every way in and out (how to climb in thru windows etc) This will help you escape / find ways in when you need.
3.Know your spawns: Spawns have gotten increasingly worse with every COD game since cod 4. Some reason developers seem to be devolving here, but my two cents says its their way of leveling the field so scrubs can (and will) spawn behind you after you kill them just so they have a way to get kills. Since spawns are unreliable you must always keep an eye on your mini map radar, Notice where you are, where your team is, and react accordingly, its possible to make a judgement on where the enemy will spawn and also gives you a heads up on what options they have to the point of attack, This is very very situational stuff because the spawns act differently from game mode to game mode. ( TDM will spawn different than Domination etc) Once you start to understand the spawns you will get shot in the back less frequently.
4. Buy a turtle beach headset and Use dead silence + awareness. THis is the easiest way to get better without trying, enables you to hear enemy footsteps with ease, wich obviously helps.
5. Dont be discouraged by your K/D Since cod 4 my K/D has always been above 2.20 when i finally quit playing. But my K/D is always lower during the first couple months the game is out, because like everyone else im learning maps, tactics and unlocking perks and guns that will ultimately be what i run until the next game comes out. My K/D now is low around 1.50 but i still have only 1500 kills, and a couple 30-5 games that K/D will JUMP up so dont worry about k/d now worry about unlocking all the guns and perks and learning the maps / spawns.
I play Search and Destroy because of all the COD game modes i feel its one of the only modes that has a META game in it similar to fighters, you can make reads on their bomb strategy and defense strategy and its pretty fun game mode.
Hope you see improvements in the gameplay. as always COD has gone downhill, but i must say this game IMO is a vast improvement from MW3

I have actually had one of my best games ever on carrier with the b23r burst fire pistol set up. I have a general idea of where spawn points will be, but I think surely have a lot to learn about them. I only use ghost in certain game types though. I actually, in most cases prefer to be seen on the map.2 and 3 are really important
1 i disagree with. i go +2/1 with pistols on carrier. . . Its all about knowing what perks/attachment and playstyle to use with a given weapon
Yeah its definately subject to the individual.. The way I play the game is like this: Run and gun: I must have A SMG FOR superior ADS. and up close brutality. With this in mind the Skorpion Evo is second to none. But at the same time, when certain maps detail a mid range game, i go MSMC with extended mag and suppressor or fast mag. LIke i said i think treyarch made most of the guns VIABLE which means more than ever individuals can use what THEY like.. which is awesome.2 and 3 are really important

Yeah like i said though, as of right now im at 1.55Its funny because if your K/D is at least 2.00, youre already better than 90% of the players out there.
You sound like a troll.. :/If you suck at the easiest shooting series ever then dont play shooters.

let it be, im being seriousYou sound like a troll.. :/
May i ask your shooter of choice?let it be, im being serious
Bad advice man..The UAV wouldn't be a problem if you pack a fucking launcher. Seriously for like every 20 games I play I might find one other person that actually shoots down air support before I can. This game is a scrub fest. Best I can say is, when you and someone down a hallway/across the level are engaging in a back and forth gunfight, the best thing to do is just turn around and run the other way around the level. I swear to you they will sit and camp there and it won't be worth the hassle. Other effective means to not die/kill more:
-try to use all your equipment per spawn. Tactical/explosive/hatchet/whatever.
-as I said, use a launcher. Shooting down a uav is more valuable than getting a "free kill" with a rpg.
-Don't be so fast! Let your teammates be the cannon fodder so you can kill whoever kills them. Walk around corners/into buildings because aiming takes less time from the hip.
If all else fails...well......
Maybe because I don't think about the +150, I think about how much more kills I'm potentially giving the other team by letting them see my teammates on the map? I tend to die less when people can't see me on the map.Bad advice man..
Why waste time earning +150 when with the right perks and gun you can earn 300+ in kills.. i cant tell u how many times i call in a stealth chopper then get dogs because im killing R tards who try and shoot down any air support out there
COD as a series is trash but BO2 is great (Finally). In this one ill tell you the basics.May i ask your shooter of choice?
I have dabbled in halo and gears, as well as killzone, never had the privelage of playing CS so let me know what your talking about
