BTW, has anyone noticed that b311 into ex bf1 in warrior won't connect most of the time, its extremely frustrating

Hey I just thought I'd drop by and give some corner combo updates for HQT! After the laser damage scaling nerfs I noticed low laser doesn't scale as much as straight or up laser. So for example (I'll use the starter 32 for consistency purposes) in the corner 32~EXbf4, 4 low laser, 3 low laser, 32 1+3 does 48%. If you change out the 3 low laser to 4 low laser it does 49% but the link is pretty tight. Also for online I use 32~EXbf4, njp, 4 low laser, 32 1+3 and it does 43%. I just thought I'd add that since it's easier online and does the same or 1% more than the op. Sorry that's a little cluttered but you get the idea!

I know about the low laser's scaling not being touched...only thing is that those combos feel very awkward and somewhat easier to drop which is why I didn't add them.

Yeah I understand that. Especially since the trick is to letting them fall low enough so the first low laser connects. I just haven't seen them anywhere and figured they were worth mentioning. I've been practicing them and they don't seem unreasonable once you get the timing down. There are definitely harder combos for other characters that are considered there bnb's. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents since the pred forums are super dead.

can i ask something;; all these combos which xInfra Deadx posted in this thread are very good if i will learn them;; and to use all these combos in

the tournaments;;

will these combos be usefull in the tournaments;;

or there are better combos ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; from all these OPTIMAL BNB COMBOS΄΄;;;;

Great job with this, I'm glad somebody stepped up to replace the dead combo thread that's still inappropriately stickied!

As Stiggy said; I think you should include the low laser combos. They really aren't that difficult if you get the timings down. They aren't restricted to the corner either, got a couple mid screens you can add:

1 Bar:

b311xx EX-SS, 4xx GPS(mid), b22xx SS (41%, very easy execution)

32xx EX-GPS, rc, 3xx GPS(mid), b22xx SS (37%)

2 Bar:

b311xx EX-SS, 4xx EX-Airdisk, GPS(mid), rc, 4xx SS (47%, can end with b22xx SS for 45% with more forgiving execution)

32xx EX-GPS, rc, 3xx GPS(mid), b22xx EX-SS, 4xx SS (46%)

Corner (1 bar): b311xx EX-SS, (wait until opponent falls to head height) 4xx GPS(close), 3xx GPS(close), 323+1 (48%)

Corner meterless: 32xx PCC, 212, (wait), 4xx GPS(close), 3xx GPS(close), 323+1 (38%, can replace 212 with f12u2 for more forgiving execution but is 35%)

You gotta be careful with These F212-combos. In the Corner F212-cl.GP does work on a standing opponent. It will whiff on a ducking Opponent that got caught by the oberhead though. What I was doing is holding straight Plasma (after f212) and then aim downwards. This way the Combo does connect. However the scaling is way worse then. This is quite an issue as I have stated here earlier: http://testyourmight.com/threads/f212-hitbox-issues.56787/ .

This being said, I highly appreciate your Combos! These are great!

That's what dPC is. Holding straight then quickly aiming low. Scales yes but nowhere near the gravity added by other lasers allowing for B311 to connect.

... I like these. they are very practical.

the 32-one even allows some sort of 50/50:
1.) 32xx EX-GPS, rc, 3xx GPS(mid), b22xx EX-SS, 4xx SS (second hit is overhead)
2.) b3xx EX-GPS, rc, 3xx GPS(mid), b22xx EX-SS, 4xx SS (second hit is low, with the 1st hit looking too similar to the ordinary 3 to be reactable imho)
3.) 3xx EX-GPS, rc, 2xx GPS(mid), b22xx EX-SS, 4xx SS works too, but I prefer Options 1.) and 2.).

this one is viabel, yet the timing is somewhatt odd: b311xx EX-SS, 4xx EX-Airdisk, GPS(mid), rc, 4xx SS (47%)
However this combo is not as unbreakerable as I thought. The opponent can even breaker the ex-scimitar, so it is more of a "kill Combo". A good one though! The animation of ex-scimitar gives plenty of time to check the healthbar!

the corner/meterless one also works with b31-pcc, so you can create some sort of oh/low mixup. theoretically even 32-pcc-311 should connect, but this cancel ain't easy to pull off.

my favorite cancel in the corner is still 4-pcc, followed by b311. for plenty of reasons this works quite often. this propably has nothing to do with the topic, though. :)

These are some tight Combos. Good ones, but the execution is tough.

F212, 3 is no viable combo starter, because F212 by itself is like -10. F212-pcc-3 cGL does work. However the cancel causes a lot of extra scaling. Thus I stick with the one that you marked as "advanced", which was my favorite F212-cornercombo before and which works really great.

With 122 I use this one: d4~close plasma, f12~ex scimitar, NJP, 321+2. It only does 43%, but it is pretty reliable.

Keep up the good work! After months of whining I start to like the predator forums again! :)

I didn't see this one listed but B31, PCC, 32, exGPS, RC, 3, GPS(mid), B22, SS. It's a good 1 bar midscreen that goes Low, Overhead, Low.

I am not a big fan of canceling into 32. Mind that 3 hits high and you easily get poked out of it. Poking usually is the best reaction to plasma-cancels.

13F punisher 2 bars! Instead of throw, you can end it with D3 trap. Lao won't be able to wakeup EX Spin because the setup is safe. Also instead of using the 13f punish, you can do B311 into this combo and the damage is 59%.
