Moments ago on http://www.twitch.tv/bgcallisto BGCallisto had Ed Boon come on stream and interviewed him in a sense. Boon discussed various topics including how his team at NetherRealm Studios watches over the community a lot, especially streams. Here are some of the notes that I got from him. Granted, this isn't all of it as I stepped away from my laptop prior to realizing Boon was going to jump on.
"Green Lantern is not a weaker character (when talking pre-patch) -I would have liked to see Joker a little bit (more in tournament). A lot of the designers (from NRS) are here too and they're happy to see the range of characters. They had a discussion to not just weaken the strong characters - let's bring the other ones up (buff them). The design team watches lots of streams. For every character they get "WOW'D" by tournament players (by the setups they use and how they use them). I bet if we had infinity time... (to patch, buff, etc) even MK, we (had to) stopped and we could have brought other characters up (buffed them). I do feel that Injustice has a wider range of characters. Had we had more time we could've brought them up. Says he does enough trolling on twitter (when asked if he'd like to troll the stream). "He would't be surprised if there was an announcement in a few days" - He confirms he and Warner Bros are going to E3."
