I have messed with him. He's a solid poke, and can run a couple of different sets. You aren't going to really be able to use him for much outsode of being a special tank though. I've found his assault vest set to be the most effective.
Yeah, I was just looking over his base stats and the first thing that stood out was AV lol. He has access to a nice movepool, too! I'm wondering what ability to go with - all of his are pretty neat, but I don't see hydration being particularly useful (for me anyway)

You're right imo Hydration is the least useful of the three, and I personally see the most use in sap sipper for two reasons:

1) It's nice having a grass immunity, especially this gen because of Mega Venasaur's prowess, as well as Smeargles trying to spore everything to death.
2) It can allow you to run mixed attacking sets making him a bit more of a threat. You come in on a grass move and start at +1, which I believe with no investment and perfect Attack IV's puts him somewhere close to the area of 195 Atk. If you invest into Sp. Atk on top of that it can really do good chunks of damage to just about anything, especially with the right move set.
3) Gooey is a very good and interesting ability, but Goodra's defense just isn't good enough to justify using the ability imo.

I personally love Goodra. He is easily one of my favorite pokes this gen, but I haven't been using him lately just because I haven't actually bred a perfect one yet...really need to get on that though lol.

I am trying to find a Skull Fossil in Glittering Cave and all I keep getting is the Helix...I think it is a sign from our lord...I must consult him on this to find the meaning.

Edit: While making this T-Tar I just came to the realization that I am a moron. All this time I've been running Assault vest T-Tar, and my favorite mega to use is Venusaur...but I never ran them together and I don't know why? They cover each other almost perfectly. What have I been doing?!

Goodra is awesome lol. I may be biased tho because I'm a huge fan of Dragon pokes, but man, thing is ridiculous to take down when used correctly.

Sap Sipper + Assault Vest is the way to go. Mixed attacker or Special Tank.

Edit: Hydration Goodra is OP but he needs the right team and synergy to make it work. Going to sleep, regaining FULL health, and waking up the same turn is too much to pass on IMO, especially with it being such a great tank.

Yep I'm really liking this idea of T-Tar and Mega Venusaur. The synergy seems really strong, Venusaur can bait pychics in and T-Tar comes in with immunity on any psychic attempts, then pursuits as they try to leave. He can do similar things for flying types aside from maybe staraptor as you'd be risking getting read and eating a close combat. Focus blasts can definitely be scary too, but they are at least a 2HKO with assault vest and are very inaccurate so it isn't as much of a threat. Rotom seems to care care of weaknesses they can't like steel and ground types. (Venusaur is neutral to ground but I mean immunity doe) I'm also throwing in Florges for Aromatherapy/Wish support, then Talonflame and Excadrill. I like how it all looks on paper, and can't wait to give it a try.

OK before I get my hopes up, can someone explain to me what exactly Pokerus does? I have two pokes infected atm

^What he said, better get on it if you haven't already. You can put other pokes in the party with them and get them infected too so long as you battel them, so that way you can spread it to all yer other pokes you want to EV train. That + Exp O power and a littel bit of horde hunting makes EV training waaaay easier. Lucky eggs help too I think. :) @xKhaoTik

Isn't it easier to EV train with the Super Training System? That's all I've been using

It depends. With Pokemon that need to be trained in Defense its easier to Horde train. And it lets to you train more than one pokemon. Just give them a macho Brace with Doubles IVs from battle and have Experience Share on. And have sweet Scent. Its convenient.

Hordes are the way. Takes like 15-20 minutes to get a stat maxed out. Takes less time with some hordes
@xKhaoTik I use both, but hordes are faster depending on what you're trying to get done. I'm always training more than one poke at once in the same stats. If I have two or three special sweeper that I'm trying to just give speed and Sp. Atk it's way faster to do hordes.

Here's the hordes i'm using for training:

HP: Route 5 (Gulpin)
Attack: Route 19 (Weepinbell/Arbok 2 EV if not raining) Route 5 (Scraggy)
Defense: Terminus Cave (Durant 2 EV)
Sp. Attack: Route 7 (Psyduck & occasional Roselia 2 EV)
Sp. Defense: Route 7 (Hoppip)
Speed: Route 12 (Wingull) and occasionally Victory Road (Floatzel 2 EV)

Durant is also Common. LIKE WHY IS IT COMMON. ITS SO GOOD.

Can anyone breed me a togepi? Preferably modest but I'll be happy with one regardless. Need it for my fairy and flying team (togekiss of course)
