I am not sure I can make it tomorrow(will let you know if anything changes) but I do have a PS4 and a 24" monitor I can bring in .

So why don't we skip tonight then. It is a bit last minute to try and make a reservation and no point in having people scramble to make it out. I'm going to try and check it out over the weekend just to see what it is like. Are there any specific days next week that work best for people? Mondays and Wednesdays usually don't work for me but let me know what works

Yea I can do tuesday. We'll need to bring a setup or 2 if we're using ps4. They have last gen for other games like inj/mk9

Ok. So can someone please take care of the reservation for Tuesday and get a head count.
I will bring the PS4, controllers and monitor. If you want sound, you will need to bring your own headphones to connect to the controllers.

Looks like we have 4 people coming currently. if anyone knows anyone else send them a text or message or something and post here. Once we finalize the numbers I'll send them a n email and we can go from there.

So how does this type of place operate? Is it free venue aka just a way to attract people to buy their food (ive never been to a gaming bar)? Who do you guys play? Myself black adam for injustice, kenshi i guess for mkx. Also i play using a ps3 pad on my pc for mkx, no problems playing on a ps4 pad but if theres some sort of adapter thatd be sweet.

I play Sub Zero for now and Erron Black down the Road. You can use your PS3 controller on my PS4 just bring the controller and cable.

I live in Ottawa and wound like to play mkx with you guys, lag free for once.

From what I hear it is free to enter so far, but they may look at a venue fee down the road. I'll send them an email saying we may have 6 or so people show up and see what they say. With that being said 1 ps4 between 6+ people could mean lots of waiting but we can see what happens. I'll let you know what they reply to me

So they got back to me saying:
Hi,
We have a minimum food and drink charge of $10.
On weekends we ask for it at the door. There currently is no cost other than that to play.

So it looks like we'll just need to buy some food among us in order to play. They didn't mention anything about the reservation so we should be good to just show up and go from there. 7pm works well for me, and that's what I told them. Let's see how tonight goes.

Whoever gets there first, maybe post where you're sitting, or leave a name like "MKX" with the hosts so that we can find you. Otherwise, see you guys there, I'll probably arrive close to 7.30

Any of you guys planning on going to Canada Cup at all?

Also if you host an event sometime (Where a bunch of you go), im sure a bunch of us montreal guys would come and play :)

I'm not sure about Canada cup just yet, though i do want to go. I'll let you guys know if we ever end up putting together something bigger though.

Honestly it doesnt need to be something huge. If you wanted to do a small tournament or anything with all the Ottawa guys, im sure minimum 4 of us would come.

Cool, yea we'll see how tonight goes. If we can get something going a few weeks in a row here then let's look at organizing something.
