lol my reasoning is different though. Since I get to play Bio all the time, it's fun to face different Bane players to see if they do anything to approach the MU differently or if the tactics I use to beat Bio will always work against every other Bane
True, no one really seems to have that mu experience like Bio though. He's probably the best at that matchup.

I'm curious about how you feel about max's bane. Wasn't your tournament match close as hell? Was he doing something different or did he just play it really well?
Actually, there is lol. Everyone does massive damage on debuff. Yea his corner game is good, so is ours. Your trait recovers faster, you don't need to Venom up. You block and space during his trait. We can talk about bane's footsies, his extreme damage output and the "lol you're not getting up factor". Yea lasers are annoying, and they can hurt. So you block and move in. His zoning is cake to get through compared to a lot of other matches. It's a lot harder online than offline for that matchup. World of difference.
I refuse to equate knockdown game into my matchup charts, even though that is a factor. Bane is on equal footsies with WW due to his armor and his d2, WW can't go for airdash setups because Bane's d2 is stupid. We armor through any and all of her frame traps, and she has to come to us if we have the life lead which can kill her.

So if you play C88 dab Jr superman. Your gonna go even with him? Or any bane player.. It's really good dont get me wrong but still find it hard to be a 5-5. Online or offline.

To me adding knockdown game is like adding a vortex. I try to look at Bane's tools as well as I can without knock down. When I do add knockdown to the equation, Mus like Zod look in Bane's favor to me. I don't know, just how I do things.

Agreed, Bane has no options whatsoever.
Bane obliterates Grundy for a few reasons. Bane completely outfootsies Grundy, and Grundy has to constantly chase Bane down because of our insane backdash. Once Grundy does get in, we can armor through all of his pressure. It's really hard for Grundy to run away from Bane, and it's hard from him to pressure us. He can't jump in, he can't get good pressure, he can't turtle. His one saving grace is that if he hits us on debuff we're eating a metric shit ton of damage.
