Yes, next Sunday the Kombat Network will be running it's very first Mortal Kombat 9 tournament at YesterCades in Red Bank, NJ! According to Shock the player list is looking to hit upwards to 50 players when in the beginning they were aiming for merely 30 players to start. This tournament will have monsters... and it will be streamed via the Kombat Network Twitch.tv channel (twitch.tv/KombatNetwork). Did we mention L.I. Joe will be the special guest commentator?! He may also play some casuals as well. The address is 80 Broad Street, Red Bank NJ, 07701, start time for warm ups is 4PM sharp, and the tournament will follow around 5PM. Be in the area around 3:30 to ensure you will get to the venue in time to make the most of the time before the tournament itself, so plan travel time accordingly. Remember, venue fee is $15 for all day access to casuals and the arcade games in the building, and there is a $10 entry fee for MK9 if you are playing in the tournament.
