I saw him do this against Perfect Legend and my jaw dropped. Tried it a bunch in practice and that D2 is damn near impossible for me to land let alone the Grapple right after. Too risky for me to try personally for not all that much of a boost in damage. But it was beautiful

Are you talking about the d2 after the b3 j3 j2?
I found the d2 to be pretty strict to land also, but if you replace the j3 with j2 it makes it a lottttt easier:

Hmmm why did only do 41%(approximately)? I thought I remembered it being like 47 when King did it. Thanks tho man I'll try double J2's instead

im noticing that 223 j2 mb up grapple into b3 is really hard to connect compare to injustice one.. is there other combos with b3 in the middle of it..

Try 2,2,3 + J2 + 2,2 + MBDF1 + B3 + J2 + B2,3 instead

This is true. What part exactly are you having issues with? D2 not coming out? Not getting grapple? Just remember to have clean inputs. If you come from injustice 1 the motion for the reset is practically the same. Also I think you need to do a rising ji2 but I don't have the game in front of me.

You can still do it off a mb up grapple but you need to walk forward slightly.

I'll play around in practice a little more, but for me personally I was having an issue connecting the d2 after j3 j2. I just can't seem to get it as consistently as I would like to, but j2 j2 d2 I can land all day lol

I noticed that after 112 mb db2, if you delay inputing the b3 just a little, it changes the trajectory of the bounce allowing you to j3 at a higher point which is what you want. Try that. I noticed this because it was easier to do this combo off a naked b3.

We do, it's been said a few times in here before. It's the one I use with meter off of 1,2,3 unless I'm going for a trait cancel reset

Maybe not a combo video but a Batman's frame data video. Easy way to quickly check every move you wish during tourney games, king of the hill etc. If you like it please leave a 'like' and sub on yt channel.

I've found that 223 into B3 is alot harder to connect online but forward 3 is relatively easy and because batman needs to guarantee damage off mb grapple conversions I've been swapping combo's. so for anyone having issues here's some combo's.

223-f3-j2/J3-b23 (tight after jump 3)

223-f3-j2-123-b23/d2 mb grapple (123 sometimes drops probably me)

@ATP2014 We should probably work on a reset/mixup specific thread eh? since we have so many options off MB grapple and off b112 enders in the corner? I'll start compiling my notes and resets and get a thread started for us all here in the next day or so.

How would everyone feel about a dedicated thread to using and managing bats? Hell, with Mb roll being a thing I think that might be a worthy self contained guide as well.

Ive already asked for a match up thread and a Batman guide, since other characters seem to already have those ones and we dont.

Sounds like a good idea. I've been so busy just playing the game that I haven't been able to finish the combos lol.

Managing bats and maintaining pressure should all be one thread.

Thanks for this tip. I can land it a lot more consistently now with that little delay of the b3.

Can we please remember to post Damage percentages folks? It's just helpful for optimization and saves time from having to go into Practice mode see for ourselves. From what I've seen most people agree that using Superman with Gear turned off(obviously) is the way to go
