I'm not at home to try but I believe J2, 123, 3, MB Grapple, B3, J3, B23 gets you more damage man. Also easier to pull off
Yessir that does indeed do more damage. Good stuff.

Edit: you can also end it with f23 to get the knockdown and be close enough for some oki, slightly less damage of course.

Yea with the nerf to 113, I don't see any real situation where it should be used. Maybe to stop ppl from couch blocking.
Really good for pressure, hit confirmable in the corner and midscreen with trait. Also, 113 trait cancel is at least plus 11 on block, as b11 jails(s1 doesn't reach unfortunately, not sure about s2) which is very good. The fact that it's confirmable in the corner and plus 6 normally means it definitely still has some utility.

This is all true, but there is a huge gap between 11()3. Very easy to backdash, poke or MB B3 through. I almost never get away with it in my matches. Also, 12 gives you almost all the same benefits, while not having a gap.

is it just me or the timing on 123, f2 trait combos is very strict? I've only been able to pull if off once.

Can anyone upload a video of mid combo trait activation?
For me I do it when the character is above Batman's head still. Do Trait immediately after the F2. Hope that helps

Don't know if this has been discussed but you can combo off of b23 if your back is against the wall in the corner. Here is what i have so far (All combos done on supes).

B23, f23 (27%)
B23, df1 (25%)
B23, db1 (26%)
B23~mb df1, b3, j3, b23 (1 bar 42%)
B23~mb db1, j3, 1, 1, b23 (1 bar 42%)
B23~ex b3, j3, b23 (2 bars 49%)

If your opponent is in the corner...
B23, df1 (25%)
B23, ex df1, f3, j3, b23 (42 percent)
Going to see what i can find with these with trait.

Oh wow no shyt? Damn that's good to know about 1,2 cause I really like that 1,2,3 string and do some big damage on hit with combos. I didn't realize it's advantage on block and even more so with trait cancel. Also pretty easy to hit confirm too. Nice

Which one/string do you personally prefer for pressure?

Wussup boys , its been awhile. i had to come back for Injustice 2. I was thinking, is it wrong that i think ending a combo with slide is better in some situation than B23? I feel b23 ender invites people to run away if they are not in the corner as slide allows you to close the gap and get a jump in/crossup potential.

I can do that, I just can't connect the combo after f2 trait.
Ohhh okay, gotcha. Yeah that can be tricky you definitely have to wait a sec. Fast follow ups with F2 + Trait but then a slight second of waiting before 1,2,3 again(if that's what you're going for)

F23, d1, 123, b23 (29%)
F23, 123, 22~mb df1, f3, b23 (35%)

Note: on the meterless version, I find it easier to execute the b23 if I omit the d1 and just go straight into 123.

B113, f2~mb db1, b3, j2, b23. The f2 link is somewhat tight but i am landing it more and more with practice.
How is anyone landing F2 + MB DB1 after a B1,1,3? Tried it countless times there doesn't seem to be nearly enough time for a grapple after that F2. Comes out too slow

All I've got so far is(All done on Superman w/Gear OFF) :
Meter Less(No Trait) - J2 + B1,1,3 + F2,3 - 228.96 DMG
Meter Less(W/Trait) - J2 + B1,1,3 + Bat Release(walk forward) + F3 + J2 + B2,3 - 333.90 DMG

With meter I don't even know what I can go for

The F2 into mb db1 does work but it's timing is really strict. Just go for b113, b2~mb df1, b3, j3, b23.

Btw you can do b113, b23 for maximum meterless damage.

I was not an Injustice GAU player and am terrible at fighting games in general so activating trait mid combo gave me some trouble as I've been learning because of the timing even on simpler ones.

One trick I found that has helped me a ton on the 123, B2xxTrait, 123, B23, RB, DF1 combo was immediately after hitting the first B2 start holding forward. For whatever reason, this helped me with the timing of getting the second 123 to hit after activating trait.

Not sure if this will help anyone else, but thought I would share.

Also, big thanks to everyone contributing on this thread. It has made learning Batman fun and interesting with the stuff you guys post. This seems to be one of the better, if not best combo threads so far for any I2 character on this site.

I saw him do this against Perfect Legend and my jaw dropped. Tried it a bunch in practice and that D2 is damn near impossible for me to land let alone the Grapple right after. Too risky for me to try personally for not all that much of a boost in damage. But it was beautiful

He actually would do the same combo reset in inj1 but would use the 113 starter. The rest is all the same. I am trying to get it down also.
 
Correction: b113, f2~mb db1 does not seem to work with smaller characters like catwoman. Could not land it at all. Maybe that's the problem you were having swonder.
