Why the HELL did his up ball get added frames on start up? The start up was fine the way it is. +6 frames on block? That part I agree with, 6 frames may be to much, I think +4 would have been the number. But additional start up frames? Jesus F'ing Christ. . . Did Reptile's stupid dash get added start up frames?

Tweaking his knife throw cool down? What a damn joke. . . That is all, stupid as a steamy pile of shit. When a member of the MK team comes out and says he hasn't won a single match in the last 24h you damn well know they went to far.

No one is complaining about his upball nerf. It's the knife nerf that we don't like.

The knife nerf? okay well still doesn't change my point as so far doesn't seem that bad to me outside of the odd animation due to it being done via hotfix and not by a certified patch, it's just less spamable. Granted this is based on initial playtesting, honestly it's too soon to say it kills Kano because the change is still new and so far there has been no evidence to show that it ruined Kano especially if Tom Brady is saying he's still in high A tier/A+ you just have to adjust you as I was trying to say in my previous post just adjust to the change and alter your game plan is that so damn hard?, especially since pending something retardly broken pops up this should be the last change we will see for sometime.

Seriously knee jerk complaing about minor changes that aren't proven to have totally ruin a character are as ridicules and on the same level as casual players pitching a fit everytime when they ruin into something they can't figure out a answer too and instead complain till their fingers develop carpel tunnel for it to be "fixed" so it's easier for them to deal with then just learn to deal with it on their own.

You can list Gamerbee with Adon, and I can counter with Tokido with Wolverine/Phoenix, Diago with Yun (and the countless other top players that have switched their mains in SSF4 AE to one of the top tiers). A top player with a top character trumps all. These players play to win, not to be a delicate and unique snowflake.

This reminds me of the time when I cried about how Kung Lao was gonna be utter shit after all his nerfs and NRS ruined him yet he's still S Tier. Kano isn't ruined, you're a drama queen, adapt to change or play a different game. Just because you can't df2 your way to victory doesn't make him destroyed.

I don't see REO cutting himself over the Quan Chi nerfs. I mean yeah, he was vocal about how silly the changes were, but in his case he was right. The Quan Chi nerfs WERE stupid. But fixing Kano's Upball and tweaking his knife wasn't. Yes, F2 needed to hit low, no, Upball didn't need to be the safest move in the game and his knives needed lower damage for how amazingly good they are.

Go play Trilogy if you want to play a broken ass Kano.

Yes, I main Raiden, have since MK1. They could nerf him to lower than Quan Chi and I would still main him because I don't play my character according to the tier he is in. I agree this thread is getting out of hand as it starting to boil down to childish arguments and pointless bickering between people and the thread it self served no purpose based on the orignal post which was just a rage filled vent based on a typical knee jerk reaction to what seems so far to be manageable nerfs.

Like I said before. If they were so determined to make this move unsafe, they could have done it while not weakening the character overall. For example, by increasing his combo damage, which is some of the lowest in the game. He was already the most marginal of the S-tier characters overall and not one that can take a serious nerf and stand his ground (unlike Kung Lao, for example, who's taken big hits and still had more than enough left over to keep him on top).

Every actual Kano player is fine with the changes, if anything they're relieved that they can now actually play the character without being despised by the entire MK playerbase. I dropped Kano because he was bullshit retarded easy with that up ball paired with his knives. Now I'm contemplating actually playing him again. I won't have the option of falling back on up ball/knife spam and I'll actually use his mixups which are pretty damn good; yes his combo damage should be adjusted a bit, I do agree there.

None the less, up ball is still a fantastic AA, which is what it was initially meant for to begin with. Not some spam happy brainless retarded move for easy wins.

Still what's the big deal he dropped what like what? half a tier seeing how he was bearly S tier and he's now A+ which is still up there I still don't see what the big deal is, your acting like he dropped to bottom feeder status like Jax and Baraka. He's not really weaker overall, you just have to change your strategy a bit it's not the end of the world just take time to play him and you will see or don't I am not going to lose sleep over it but just drop it all this pointless complaining isn't going to make NRS change their minds and repeal the fix.

Kabal isn't nearly the best character (and he was definitely worse than pre-patch Kano) and he's came 1st in two major tourneys this month.

I had a lot of changes I wanted for Mileena, but I agree with Tom Brady (sorry to be another one of those people). Everyone wants their shit for free and easy-mode to top it all off.

Oh, and Kano's damage is fucking fine (quote me). Why should that prick to be able to zone well and do super damage? It's one or the other; not both.
