I see. I'll give you that. But the same can be said of all the ninjas of you look at it from that perspective. Most have masks etc. But the other aesthetics vastly differentiate them as of the modern MK games. This holds true for the Edenian kunoichi.
Just commenting on what we know. I find it strange that they would pick that color scheme as a showcase when it is just so aesthetically unappealing. Also we can't be sure that we will find a color scheme we will like. It could be a bunch of different shades of browns for all I know. Not necessarily of course, but we just don't know at this point.
All very good points. But I will add that in my opinion, having the ladies a bit more conservatively dressed is more appealing. I always found it odd that most fighting games depict the ladies wearing nothing but string bikinis to a fight when the men are fully clothed and/or armored. Personally, my respect level has gone way up for NRS's decision to appropriately dress the ladies this time around. They started in the right direction with MKX.

I substantially agree with your post. I too was going to post about the heels, but must have forgotten to. Totally agree that fighting in heels doesn't make sense as a general rule. I'd be fine with it in certain circumstances, say for example a female sorcerer that uses mystical dance to enthrall enemies. A ninja like Jade though? Not really making sense to me.

Okay wait. What I meant by the mma gear thing is that those girls don’t SMOTHER themselves in clothing. Look I realize MK9 had the females looking a little less than savory. However, what they seem to be doing now is an extreme as well. Skarlet in particular looks nothing like her MK9 face. I get she was half naked but honestly this new iteration of skarlet could be a completely different character from that. If they hadn’t put skarlet in the life bar idk that i would have known it was her.
Yes, and that has previously been true of many other characters as well, going back as far as Shang Tsung in MK2, Smoke in MK3, Reptile in MK4, Ermac in MK: D and again in MKX, Tremor in MKX... the list goes on. Skarlet is not the first or the last character in the MK franchise to get a complete makeover. That's what happens to characters with generic original designs.

Same dude. MKX made me think Kano, Jax, and Liu Kang are total badasses for maybe the first time ever. Now MK11 is doing the same for Kabal, Raiden, Baraka, etc. This new timeline has been very good to very many characters.
For sure, theres a ton of characters I like now. I don't feel connected to them like I do with Sub though, I associate playing Sub-Zero with a lot of memories from the past few years. It's really bizarre, but I truly enjoy using the character and getting better with him. I don't have the time, desire, motivation, or natural talent to be a top player in a fighting game but my goal is to be able to at least fight great players without getting blown out, while learning, and reliving some stress.
Tell me what? I don't like Bo Rai Cho, Birdie, Bob or Rufus. And it doesn't seem like any such characters will be in MK 11 so I'm good.
