MLG Anaheim 2014 Registration Tracker and Planning/Rooming/Help Thread - 72 Entrants So Far

That's about right.
I hate to beat a dead horse, but it's really embarrassing how all those people took to Twitter to harass the MLG guys for this and you all haven't even hit 70 ppl yet lol. I hate to say it, but this community doesn't deserve esports or it's money. MLG should just keep pestering the T.O.'s until their on board for Capcom games. From my understanding Capcom gave it a green light, but tournaments were conflicting. They should just do it anyway. They would get the numbers they want.

I dont think I saw anywhere saying Capcom was going to allow it at MLG and the conflict was the reason. On the contrary, it was speculated that them saying it couldnt happen because of the tournament in Southeast Asia was just a copout by Capcom, and they weren't going to allow it to begin with.

I'm not gonna do all that searching to show you, but it's somewhere deep on Adam Apicella's Twitter if you want to find it yourself. He clearly stated the problem isn't with Capcom, but conflicting tournaments. I don't go off of rumors and speculation. I just take the grass from the horses mouth and stick it up his ass.

Yeah this is where it all came from, that he didn't specifically say it was approved, but specifically said the reason why it was shot down. You can infer that it would have included capcom games otherwise, but that too is speculation.

No doubt MLG is hopeful for capcom to get on board and for this to be a one off and for USF4 to be at the next one.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make MLG Anaheim, so you will have to remove me from the list of "maybes" in the first post. It pains me that I won't return to an MLG venue this month, but it is what it is.

To those who are going, I hope you have registered, because passes for KI and Injustice have risen to $75 apiece. Hesitation is not wise.
