I think post skull buff Summoner also fell into that category. No matter how well you played in the neutral one touch from him and it was a very high chance you'd be dead. He had every single offensive tool you could ask for.

Wait what? That's not right at all lol, Sub, Smoke, BRC and Cyber Sub all give him moves he can use to vortex which aren't useless at all. Jacqui's is hard to convert from but is a meterless launcher which is great for Shinnok.

That aside, the majority of you seem to lack a LOT of basic ass fundamentals, to the extent where you genuinely believe mid hitting staggers, from ALL kinds of characters, are somehow better than unreactible, safe/plus, meterless launching 50/50s.
Or how literally dumb a huge chunk of you are, to be so oblivious that the variation is irrelevant because its comparing them AS A WHOLE. Its. still. the. same. damn. character.....like omg, how is this flying over your heads??? Is variation lock a thing in tourneys now even when you lose? Is changing the variation from Hellfire to Inferno SOMEHOW the equivalent to going to Jax now? Seriously, are the majority of you that believe this REALLY that dumb?
But thats all I really had left to add. This thread was proof enough just how little a huge chunk of you understand about the game. Which to add, not a SINGLE top player has liked or commented on either threads wholeheartedly agreeing with it, with Vak being the exception, so by TYM's collective assbackwards logic, makes both threads equally irrelevant. Have fun telling yourself otherwise though
You're so articulate and good with words when it comes to expressing your hate for Tom in a whole new thread and complain about TYM, you probably have a dictionary in your hands right now for that, but you could've used the same level of eloquence to explain in detail why Mileena and some other characters aren't S tier in your list. It's become a quite literal joke. Didn't realize just how much until now. Plus frames are now deemed irrelevant, no punishable strings or specials unless a player misses a cancel now also makes a character meh, mid hits are now better than 50/50's and the list goes on. It's become entirely based on opinions with half truths or no truths at all, and the mass take it as truth because the "feel" the same way. Pathetic...
I forget basic high school grammar and literature is lost on most Americans, my bad.
For real, how many people are actually calling the cancel based characters like Johnny or D'Vorah "meh"? Or the 50/50 games of Cutthroat Kano or Demolition Sonya? All of those characters are almost universally reguarded as top tier.
I explained the reasons per tier already in the OP. I'm not going to go into detail for every single character as to why they are so good or so bad because EVERY character IS good by default. Everyone has tools for every situation, it's just that certain MU's, certain frame data for these moves, either grant advantage or disadvantage in the MU's, or even.
your surly not talking about my brothers tier list? because from what i gather with a quick search was that was a community tier list compiled by the best and brightest of TYM. and the downfall of said tierlist was the communities ability to work together and stop arguing about a specific characters placement, and his ability to deal with all of them arguing and changing there minds.
