How bout I go quote every single post of people saying they agree with all the placements, Kenshi's included? Not going to do this, but you have extremely selective reading. There is like 5 on the first page alone bro.

You just quoted two people, called it a dozen, and then posted another childish picture like you are arguing on facebook or some shit. Hell, the members of yomi ALONE who came together to make this tier list probably outnumber the people disagreeing about Kenshi, and every single one of them is a lot better than you.



All this is irrelevant. I'm not the one throwing insults at people who have a different opinion to mine, it's valid and we are yet to see Kenshi properly fuck shit up yet. I feel that he deserves this spot, and so do many others, but it's not a "majority rules" thing, even tho the majority pretty clearly agrees with YOMI and its the minority speaking out against Kenshi's placing, but it's irrelevant, I think both opinions are fair. You are the one acting like you have some undeniable truth, and blasting the intelligence of anyone who feels otherwise. The only thing that I'm just saying for sure is that you (and only you, maybe another Kenshi main or two - not everybody who thinks Kenshi aint top 10) are downplaying so hard that I'm genuinely embarrassed for you, you are even spilling it over to people's statuses that are just broadcasting about there being a Tier list out, like wat? :| I said Kenshi was top 10, ARGUABLY top 5. One of the two guys you just quoted even said he was top 10 as well. You need to grow up brother.

People agree with Yomi list as general not as for Kenshi placement.

Kenshi mains who did speak up in this thread in majority agree with me.

Also i counted pretty well, just take a look how many people agree with my first post here about Kenshi placement.

Kenshi isn't top 5-9 arguably or not. Unless proven otherwise (somebody who main him actually gonna place top 8 at majors). The best he currently achieved is Top 32 looser at CEO if i remember correctly.

Wait, so all the people who say they agree with the list, don't count specifically for Kenshi? Do they literally have to specify that they were including Kenshi (and only Kenshi) in this statement as well for it to count to him? This is the most one sided argument I've ever seen, and just a perfectly fitting example of what I was talking about when I mentioned your "embarrassing downplaying". You will literally say and twist anything to make it support your view.

MKX has 3 variations for each character. So, technically speaking we have 90 characters in this game right now. How is there a tier list without including every variation for each character? If you can't do that then this game hasn't been fleshed out enough to make a tier list.

I'm not calling out whoever made this tier list. I'm generally asking the creator(s) of this list a question.

Not everyone knows all of the variations. I doubt most people know anything about hat trick/ethereal/shaolin. Now with about 90 characters, it would be pointless in my opinion to name every single one based off of variation. What difference does it make being #56 or #60 in that list. Doing a tier list off of a characters best variation makes the most sense to me.

I would of liked the list to be S+ S A+... Format though

I put him close to even against the Cage duo and Sub Zero. Pretty much, any character that has no easy answer to ground pound has a close to even match-up against Goro. If you can force Goro to the Dragon Fang variation, then it is his worst match-up.

Except when you have characters like Tanya, Subzero, Kung Jin, Cassie, Shinnok, to name a few, that actually pretty very differently across variations.

I wouldnt want them to reduce the advantage to the point it didn't guarantee a string on block anymore. You are spending a bar after all and that is what the variation is about. They could increase the cooldown of ex hat spin on block, so it wouldnt guarantee another guaranteed ex hat loop after the first ex hat spin. Kung lao players would have to go for more stagger strings and find other ways to get more pressure in.

If it still guarantees a block string then there's really no substantial difference if it's +27 or +17 though. However I really like your second idea.

I agree with you, that he loses against Quan, KL and Tanya for sure.

KK does not beat him for sure.

KJ is debatable, i still need to play more matches at my local scene, but i ve been doing well against him. You just need to be patient.

Jason is a winnable MU. @Hidan plays a fucking seriously scary Relentless and Slasher Jason. Both characters have equal chance of winning.

Kitana, tbh with you, i have no idea, but i get a feeling that she ll probably fan the hell out of him. I ll take your word for that MU, since i havent played any high lvl Kitana players.


I would like, if you can, to record some matches next time you use him at Yomi and send me the link, so i can see how they deal with him. I believe you are using KW yes?

About Jason

They are equals pre and post patch. Goro is big and Jason never had problems with his mid-hitting moves against him.

Still Metzos struggles more than me, trying to put variety in his setups with different moves, which showcases two things.
1) Relentless relies so much in a few moves now which makes him way more simple
2) Goro has room for lvl up. I can't determine how much, but it's there

i'm guessing this list take all the variations into account and not based on their most dominant variations.

i like to go with the second way of tiering since almost everyone sticks with one variation of their character. using variation counter is a lot less common than character counter.


based on their most dominant variations jacqui and kotal should be much much higher and kano should be a lot lower.

sun and blood god kotal sucks, but war god kotal is better than most characters best variation thats ranked above him. same with full auto jacqui.

I think Ferra/Torr is underrated. The only thing holding vicious back is no wake up moves.

The advantage does make a difference for me. After ex hat spin on block you have to run up to do another 11212. You can do a long run and do grab after the grab immunity wears off and mix it up with a string anyway and if the opponent tried to tech the grab they will get launched. The +27 allows creativity imo, tye variation already doesnt allow a lot of creativity. I do think they should only do this after ex hat spin is cancelled from a string and not a raw ex hat spin into run ins.
