MKX: The end of character loyalty for some?

Once I find my main I will stick with them for a long time, especially with variations coming into play.

I'm still loyal to Reptile and Cage. I have to be, they are my favorites.

I bet they have some ill tag team combos in mk9, like 4 green balls on the screen if you have the meter

Ermac was always my dude, and with him getting a variation that takes from my injustice main, Hawkgirl he got his seat guaranteed.. but man does this game make it hard.
Kano, Mileena, and Quan Chi (some only in 1 variation but still) all look interesting so I'll give them a fair spin before settling for good.
Tanya, Kenshi and Shinnok might be cool too so it's all good vibes.

Sadly none of the new characters look appealing to me, Takeda has some crazy stuff but I can already tell he's gonna be so overplayed online that I can't get down.
I'm still hopeful for Jacqui tho, she's too cute to be a lame character so I'll wait and see ^.^

But yeah Definitely can't see myself sticking with only Ermac like I did in MK9.

I feel for @PND_Mustard and @PND_Ketchup , it's looking like for the first time in a while they won't get to play their mains...

It was Fujin and Shinnok for me since MK9, but it looks like i'm only going to be getting Shinnok but i'm okay with that. I'll definitely be using Goro and Erron Black as well, but I have to say everyone looks fun as hell. I end up learning every character anyway, but i'll definitely be loyal to the fallen Elder God.

Although.. If Fujin blows his way into the game as DLC, i'm going to betray Shinnok like Quan Chi did in MK4.

Although I'm the same, Shinnok will be my main at first (with Jacqui and Kenshi as secondaries) but if Fujin makes it in I'm breaking the shit out of him. Or maybe I won't, maybe we should withhold all the tech and get him unnecessarily buffed after the third patch or something

Hard to be a loyalist when there are many characters that look good while you think that you have to diversify your old playstyle... On the other hand, what if you find much needed diversity in another variation of the same character?

As for my possible cheating on Raiden... I believe he forgives my impending failure with others

This has been said by myself as well as a lot of others but NRS has done such a fantastic job with making every character look unique and ridiculously fun. I mean I actually want to play as Kano. KANO EVERYONE. My least favorite character in the whole series. Now look? I can't wait to counter people with Commando and just straight German suplex them haha. Character loyalty will be hard for some people more than others but no matter what since I was a little kid I've mained Sub Zero before choosing anyone else and that's how it's gonna stay!

Though Takeda does look fantastic....NO Sub Zero. Lol
