Not that I think Baraka is a bad kharacter, I really like him, but I can only see him as a disc kharacter, not a DLC kharacter. It's like trying to sell Sonya or Jax in a DLC pack, they're just so basic. I'd take Reiko over him no doubt about that.I really don't understand how someone could WANT Baraka ... dissapointed that there's probably no Reiko
I want Sindel too, but what you say makes little sense as you could say that about most of the current characters.
With her hair grapples, fireball projectiles, and flight, Sindel actually lends herself better to the variation system than most of the characters already in the game.

But with that above post the Sweet Tooth thing, long-rumored, is feeling so possible. Maybe that's more evidence (along with BRC) that the silhouettes in the image are a troll. I can't imagine Sweet Tooth would be something they'd do now, with the Twisted Metal franchise so dead. I hope not, anyway.
ED: It's been noted that Sweet Tooth and Master Chief are both console-exclusive characters. I will feel silly if I did all this fooling around in Photoshop on a decoy clown silhouette.
This is Baraka's potential last mortal kombat game until they do another reboot so he definitely deserves to be in this game, but I feel a lot of people will skip him because he is DLC. Plus Bo Rai Cho puke combos are going to be super hype, so yeah why wouldn't you want him?
Dead people can never be considered really dead in MK, you know that, but besides that, there are many other characters that could be better as a dlc character.

The only reason people came back to life was because Raiden traded their souls to Quan Chi and he resurrected them. Now that Quan Chi is dead I don't think any dead people will be coming back, because as far as we know the only people that can resurrect the dead that are still alive are the Elder Gods.
Come on now, we all know Shang Tsung is coming back in the next game, and I don't think we'll never see Quan Chi again, but, as I said, that's beyond the point, lol
