holy shit, I just made a post about what Dreemer & iori were already talking about. lol wow.

I am thinking the release date for MK8 like iori said, will be August 8, 2008 (8-8-08 )

thats crazy. But the countdonw is 100% counting down to the Midway Gamers Day on April 17th. :D On that day, MK8 will be revealed to the world.

I've been hoping for a decent Mortal Kombat to come out since 4.

EVERY Mortal Kombat after 4 was a let down in my opinion.

With Street Fighter 4 around the corner aswell, I'm just hoping Midway does something right one fucking time. Make a GOOD fighting game. Dont just focus on graphics, blood and fatalaties with this new Unreal Engine, actually make it a fighting game WORTH playing with competition.

Sorry, it's frustrating.

yeah I'm with you.
it's been so frustrating seeing and playing those silly 3d mks. I've played maybe 1 hour total of mkd and I gladly have never played mka LOL

I played mkda a while, as soon as it came up and got bored quickly. well mkda is the "best" of the 3d ones, but the lack of competition was the most boring factor that made me quit playing it. who plays that shit at a serious level anyway? jaja I'm talking about in my city ok? I know some people take those games seriously, and I don't want to offend anyone ;)

let's hope mk8 is more playable than "watchable" lol sorry, don't know if that words even exists, but you get the idea jeje

lol believe it or not, I still get a kick out of MKA once in a while online and why do people even bash the 3D ones when there is only one balanced game on each side? A game doesn't have to be 2D to be good people. Now if you want to talk about a game where its too broken to have fun with then that would be MKD. But all in all, you can't really compare the 3D MK games to the other, newer 3D fighter games, hell, not even the 2D ones with todays newer 3D, but it can be one of those games you prefer over the other just because. (like some people prefer SSF2T over SF3 even though SF3 is a better game)

But anyway, sorry about that big dumb paragraph, lets just move on to MK8

Usually, my hype builds up when the game gets news/trailers released, but now, I am not that excited for it because they haven't gave us much stuff yet, so I will have to wait.

I hope MK8 is atleast balanced like MKDA was (while not PERFECTLY balanced like UMK3, just balanced enough for no extremely over powered God-Tiers like MKD or MK1.... or MKT )

They are finally releasing Primal Rage 2, or are using their fighting system... Some guy told me that btw. He knows what he is talking about too.

Oh man, I hope its Primal Rage for GB style gameplay mechanics. Punch, Kick, and special moves were hold P+K and do d-pad motions. It was awesome.

I just got off the phone with Raiden and he said he isnt sure, but he over heard somebody talking about a shooter, a la The Grid.

I had one good one about Rage, but just discounted it myself. Back to the drawing board they say.

The other clue on the site I haven't seen anyone on any site get yet. But I've been sworn to secrecy since I figured it out. :D

Primal Rage 2... mmm I'd like to see that, as a real game... and... WITH dinosaurs please :) you know how to do a great Primal Rage 2...? easy:
- Translate every single move and the gameplay of PR1 to the 3D
- Add 4 new dinosaurs
- Do absolutely NOTHING else, or they might ruin it

And there you got a great great game :)

To me... Rage must be... some sort of Animality included in the general gameplay in the Bloody Roar style.

I'd love to see more 2D style gameplay in the 3D environment. I think there is no other way to do it well and make it easy to pick up.

Remember guys...in between matches you can each enter a code to get an effect. i.e. blocking disabled. But also im sure youve seen "hold flippers during casino run" it meansnothing....Anyway my point is .......http://www.noob.com tobias has our head spinningcause he likes to see people scratch their heads. I think he gave us this site to trick us into thinking that the pictures of the animals have something to do with the game but its just so he can laugh at us while we try to figure out something that has no meaning.lol
