So, the multiple endings mean nothing at this point, as the bad one is likely not canon, Cause Kronika would erase Raiden, Which NRS cannot have, as he is one of the faces of the franchise.

I was thinking - in both endings Kronika wins (maybe indirectly - in the good one). Why? Because she rolled out to the dawn of time and no realms exist anymore, no Elder Gods, nothing. In bad ending she would probably make sure that Raiden never appears. In the good one - Liu and Kitana starts anew (which is good, but everything else is non-existent anymore).

It's not just the ending, it's many many things that add up and none of them make any sense. It is a spoiler thread so maybe I could bring some of them up: They hyped Dark Raiden SO HARD only for him to disappear few minutes into the story. The power dynamic in the story makes even less fucking sense than MKX with the Briggs beating Cetrion (LOL yeah ok sure NRS), Sonya beating Geras 1 on 1, hyped Kotal last game to make him irrelevant here, brought Shao Kahn back to kill him by Kitana REALLY? Zero explanation of the characters that were in the last game but didn't make it here, where did they go? How come they haven't come back with the time BS? No explanation of Kitana using Mileena's sai. 90% of the characters on the roster being nothing but jobbers in the story. Noob Saibot, ugh Noob Saibot. Scorpion dying to D'vorah, and then she gets away.

Basically nothing, a line or two of dialogue then you pick either Subbie or Scorpion to fight him, beat him, move on and that's it.
