.... they mostly come at night. Mostly.
Shinnok and Quan Chi is a safe bet they will be in the new game

Majority of survivors from MK9 story mode, are from villain side, so, no reason for not having they here ....

Shang Tsung an Shao Kahn : out ..... we don't need them both for now ..... a good story can be write for the next MK, without them

From the good guys from MK9, please bring back only them : Raiden, Johnny Cage and Sonya ..... don't come with crap excuse for ressurection for the rest of roster, at least , for the next game ..... we wanna see other MK characters

Sareena, Li Mei, Tanya and Reiko, could be in the new MK ..... NRS doesn't need necessarily, to follow MK4 original plot, since, in the last MK9, they fused together 3 games background stories to fit in .... so, they can do the same with the new MK

Fujin is welcome too, in the new MK

Based in the Noob Saibot ladder non canon ending, Havik could be in the new game, since he is a cool character

The real problem is bringing back Sub-Zero : the dude is in all MK previous game, and so, I bet NRS want to keep the tradition , and put him in the next game. I don't think Sindel could have done enough damage on him, in order to Cyber Sub-Zero be out of work forever, so, they can plan a excuse to him come back as cyborg version, or , some crazy theory that Cyber SZ, somehow, was able to convert back to human form, I don't know ..... if seems out of question, so, at least, put Frost in the game, if so .....

Skarlet should be in as part of story mode

Noob Saibot is a doubt, but, I don't think a soulnado could be able to finish him, so, he could come back

Scorpion is guaranteed, and should be in the next MK game .... will be very disapointed if he end being no there .......

This is NOT MY SPECULATION. This is FACT. John Vogel has also stated that Shao Khan defeated BOTH Raiden And Blaze in MK9 and that in the new Timeline Armageddon will be changed.....

99% that MK4 cast (except the people who died in MK9) will be in MK10, and probaly NRS will use the characters from 3D era to fill the roster. Even the people who got killed by the Deadly Alliance were revived by Onaga and became good again in MKD Ermac's ending, so i think they will be back, maybe in MK11...

Yeah, all of that was speculation on your part. He's dead, sindel killed them. Again, provide a better source than just linking his fatality and saying thats what happened. His body doesnt decompose in his fatality. It did when Kahn ripped his soul(s) out.

MK10 must also have :

-Different noses (it seems like everyone in mk9 has the same nose)
-A variety of body types (OK, so Cage is ripped and Jax is the black Arnold Hamburgerger but there's no reason for the 2 sorcerers to carry six-packs)
-Less boobs (no comment needed on that one) plus all their clothes rip on certain... areas...
-I wouldn't mind if the characters had a couple of more combo strings...
-Liu Kang & either of the Sub-Zeros (both Sub-Zeros would be the best)
-Less reincarnations/resurrections
-NO MORE SHAO KAHN... That guy had a 20-25cm hole on his chest and healed 2 minutes later... And after killing him in mk2, mk3, umk3, mktrilogy, Deadly Alliance, Shaolin Monks, mk9 and who knows where else, I think the world had enough of him. Not even Jack Bauer has had this many comebacks.
-Better on line play
-ONE story line that from now on can make sense (after mk Armageddon being behind us)
-Solid character designs... Let's forget about Meat, Blaze and Kobra...
-Less Serato1988 (FOR_THE_SHAOLIN)...

about nose: agree, every male chars share the same nose except Cage.

About Kahn: He dies whenever you beat him in the 90's games...
MK2 ->stone-boom
MK3 ->green laser-boom
Umk3 & trilogy-> big green laser bada-boom
Deadly Alliance-> the 6pack team takes him out, but THEN, in deception or Armageddon they realize they pulled a Benny Hill and have taken out his stunt double...
MK Armageddon-> Onaga tells Shao Kahn to turn his cell phone off because his flight took off but and even after Taven was supposed to take care of Blaze, MK9 suggests that Kahn bailed from that 1st class flight, kicked Onaga's tushy and then beat Blaze too.
MK9-> Kang drills his Schwartzeneger-like bicep through his chest (again, do the Shaolin feed their monks with food or steroids?), but the hole recovers in 2-3minutes.
Also, have you noticed that EVERY bad guy explodes after he's been beaten ? Shinnok went down the sewer after you flushed him but all the other ones explode !

those "booms" are what happened with every MK boss except Shinnok lol. It's non-canon.
But i agree with less resurrection, it's stupid as fuck, especially Raiden became Dark Raiden.

Shao Khan did kill Blaze and became a god,BUT THAT WAS IN THE OLD FREAKING TIMELINE,BRO!!!( You know all that stuff about space-time continuum like in Back to the Future:)) So if we are dealing with continuation of MK9 new timeline which Raiden created, then Shao Khan IS DEAD.
And what is all that crap about merging Edenia and Outworld???? THEY HAD BEEN ALREADY MERGED Before MK1 happened. Hence why Jerod is dead in mk9 and his soul is part of Ermac, and Kitana and Sindel are Shao khan's bitches.

And as I said in the other thread :

I think they should implement the actual gaming experience of mk9 into the plot. Like they have created Ermac out of fans speculation of his existence. They should continue that. Like say come up with some explanation for Kabals powers which would make him beast in the story or make Cyrax evolve as a cybernetic organism which comes up with new measures to counter different enemies. That would please FGC so much!

I can see 7-8 new characters like Havik, Tremor, Fujin, Tanya, Reiko, Shinnok, Sareena and Kai.
Don't get your hopes up for characters like Bo'rai'cho or Drahmin.....

It would be foolish not to include these three women. Sareena should most def. be in the game (she was in the background in MK9, has ties to both Subzero and Quan Chi) but it would make even more sense to include Kia and Jatakka. First off, they were introduced to us in MK: Mythologies Subzero and then never heard of again. It'd be nice to revisit them as playable characters PLUS they would technically be two new fighters (because they have never been playable and virtually never mentioned again after Mythologies).

Along with the entire mk9 cast except Freddy ( I won't be mad if Sheeva isn't there), I think shinnok, frost, reiko, and fujin MUST be there. Also I would like li mei, havik, mavado and Jarek.
