I heard there's a way to play MKT online via Mame / Kaillera but I never really tried it so I can't comment on how good it is.

Where do you live? With enough interest in your area, you may be able to get some locals going. That would be your best bet to enjoy the game.

I have played MK2, UMK3, and MK9 competitively and I can say without a doubt that NRS made most of the characters' playstyles and strategies just like they did in the old games.

MK3/UMK 3/MKT have a diferent feel than MK9, while I loved the game so much it doesnt come close to how playing the classic games made me feel, idk its probaly just nostalgia I guess.

I just wish they went back to aa'ing with standing kicks into combos, fast walk movement, fast smoke teleports etc. why make normals so slow? Why not remove so much block stun and make normals the fastest ones 3 frames like any other fighter? Why not Get fast wake up/ reversal moves? Etc etc

The only character that you could make a case for being ban worthy is Noob Saibot, but he has his small shares of 5-5s so I don't know.
