think about it dude... which move does lex have that pulls his opponent close to him?
yeah i mean playing the game for the first time was just trying to match it to a combo string or special I didn't see on the list. but ya that makes sense

a popular lingo phrase/ nickname for down back 2 move which is called Gravity Pull
i like calling it vacuum
ty

Try this w lex. Ji2 112 vacuum MB b3 ji 3 11 ex missle (reset here) vacuum MB b3 j3 11 ex missle ex orb dash in throw .

why do you do you finish with 11 instead of 112 or 113?
Try this:
Heres a sorta reset ive come up with.. its escape able by techrolling and quickly jumping forward but it looks pretty hard to escape..
b23 MB gravity b3 ji3 112 MB orbit strike.. dash in MB gravity pull b3 ji3 11 gravity pull.. it all does 61% in total. they cant tech roll and jump back to escape since theyre almost full screen

since lex already has a infinite, aren't they going to patch him anyways which might change all these setups? just sayin

infinites and resets :) man if only lex had a special move that hit overhead :( i have the dirtiest mix up too

vacuum MB b3 j3 22 close mine
also why is this dead? lex is supposed to be best in demo

Pretty sure Ground Bounce hits overhead -- can't remember how many frames the startup is, though.

im simply trying to get to grips with the mechanics for now , lex is very set up based so im sure everyone like me is trying to get a feel for what does or doesnt work , jer posted a nice vid up earlier today

i believe every f3 or b3 is advantage on block
block advantage is common in igau like virtua fighter
There is a F3 that is negative on block, just not sure who it is off the top of my head.

Edit: All F3's are + on Block and All B3's except WW's out of the Sword Stance -5.

I was messing with u3, which has so much hit advantage that if you cancel into OS, the OS will whiff before the opponent even gets up. However, it also has enough hit advantage to get off a far mine AND a Corp Charge, which will push the opponent into the mine just as they wake up. As far as I can tell, this can be blocked but not avoided. And even if blocked, the mine leaves you at +40~ advantage to keep your pressure going.

u3 has awful range, but at 6-frames it could turn out to be a decent punishment tool against adjacent opponents.

... u3 is an anti air exclusive attack

f2 but its only combo-able in the corner, its 15 frames. ground bounce is too slow at 29 frame for mix up potential.

I'd think you'd have to respect an armored ground bounce after advantage.. Could lead to oki/reset setups and all kinds of things. Also remember Lex has that hit of armor from his trait -- so that makes certain things viable that would not be otherwise. Trait + MB = 2 hits for a bar.

hmmmm MU wise i see nightwing and the flash and any other character that has multi hit strings being a problem for lex with if he tries to set this up, we shall see what lex's frame date is when the full game comes out and gets the update.

Yeah, from having played Nightwing Aquaman and GA though, you have to be really careful with the spacing on those slow multi-hit moves.. Otherwise on a bait someone like Lex will have plenty of time to make you pay. Not only with the damage, but also with the fact that another knockdown = another setup for him.
