what are your toughts on Quan Chi mu? i feel like an underdog everytime someone chooses him. that pressure is just sick.

i know he loses vs them. but his rush down and footsies are still really darned good.

Ermac controls Kung Laos neutral. Can't zone, Can't teleport, Can't Play footsies.

Kitana does not beat Kung Lao.

Sektor controls Kung Laos neutral too for the same reason ermac does.

No idea why people are contesting KL numbers that have been established for a while now.
If ermac was so easy for kung lao, you would see PL and forever king use KL against people like pboardplayer (so-cal ermac).
But instead they chose not to use kung lao against him and go for counter picks.

^^Pretty much what PL said about this MU. If KL is making it look easy then the ermac playing is either shooting too many fireballs or being heavily out played.

Kung Lao beats Quan Chi easily. If you're struggling with Quan Chi's pressure, you need to get used to fuzzy guarding his strings. Keep blocking low and react to his overhead. Save your meter to break if he has three bars and gets you in the rune trap.

Zone him, roll to get in or whiff dive kicks (try not to tele too much since his uppercut is fast). Up close, bait his uppercut and punish with 21 spin. Also use cross over tele shenanigans to make his uppercut whiff (a lot of Quan players will mash uppercuts when you cross them up) and full combo with delayed tele 3.
