Somewhere in the distant future. Is it tomorrow yet?
Wow. Entitled, much?At this point Mileena's inclusion is the only thing that'd interest me enough to play MK11 again, and that's saying something.
Truly the best decision they've ever made (alongside Sindel, of course), but I hope her consistent, albeit obnoxious, high demand solidifies her as a staple for future games. The sheer audacity they had to exclude her from the base roster and the story because of her supposed "death" (this is MK), while manipulating the timeline and/or resurrecting others just to forcibly include them. Really just feels odd having Kitana in a game without her at this point.
No, a character being a staple is a pretty simple concept to grasp and Mileena has rightfully earned her place since 1993. Are you telling me Scorpion mains wouldn't mass seizure if he was excluded from the base roster?Wow. Entitled, much?
yesIs it tomorrow yet?
WowIt's just disrespectful to deliberately exclude fan favourites/staples in favour of tragedies like Frost and Jacqui or mediocre cash-grab DLCs that appeal exclusively to 30-something year old guys desperately wanting to relive the 90s.
scorpion wasn't in base mk3, nobody caredNo, a character being a staple is a pretty simple concept to grasp and Mileena has rightfully earned her place since 1993. Are you telling me Scorpion mains wouldn't mass seizure if he was excluded from the base roster?
I wouldn't say that. I remember the mk3 being heavily criticized for having less interesting characters and not having any of the ninjas, except for weird mask-less sub zero.scorpion wasn't in base mk3, nobody cared
I remember more people were mad raiden wasn't in it honestly back in the day.
I played a LOT of Frost and Jacqui, them and Sindel are my top 3 played characters in this game, so this whole argument about a "bad" character vs "good" character is ridiculous. Mileena wasn't in the plan for this game and it was fine to me, it's ok that people miss her or even ask for her, but DEMANDING a character be in the game because it's "audacity" to leave her out is a bit much. Even I, someone that loves Mileena, dislike the mindless hate towards her, and will definitely play her a lot (and also Rain), would say that it's a bit much. It's just disrespectful to deliberately exclude fan favourites/staples in favour of tragedies like Frost and Jacqui or mediocre cash-grab DLCs that appeal exclusively to 30-something year old guys desperately wanting to relive the 90s.
^This.I wouldn't say that. I remember the mk3 being heavily criticized for having less interesting characters and not having any of the ninjas, except for weird mask-less sub zero.
If you truly believe that, you are delusional.Iam sure that if both sub zero and Scorpion miss the next game. Their fans combined will not complain and be toxic as Mileena fans
Mileena exploded in popularity with MK9. It wasn't that a big a deal that she missed a game until now.^This.
In addition, Scorpion never got his own adventure game, while Sub-Zero, Jax, and Liu Kang/Kung Lao did.
On the topic of Mileena, she's been excluded from other games before (Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe as I recall). So has Kitana, for that matter.
Absolutely. I'm simply pointing out she has missed games.Mileena exploded in popularity with MK9. It wasn't that a big a deal that she missed a game until now.
She's definitely a staple character, on par with Kitana at this point
I would say that, thats why I said itI wouldn't say that. I remember the mk3 being heavily criticized for having less interesting characters and not having any of the ninjas, except for weird mask-less sub zero.
You know who hasn't missed an MK game since he was excluded in MK3? Scorpion. I woudln't say that they learned a lesson because his exclusion was probably more to do with Daniel Pesina being essentially fired from MK, but I think they did learn that you can't not have Scorpion in the game.On the topic of Mileena, she's been excluded from other games before (Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, and Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe as I recall). Yes, Scorpion being excluded in 1995 when MK was barely an established series and had existed for less than three years is totally comparable to Scorpion being excluded 25 years, two live action films, multiple series and millions of copies sold later in an age where the Internet exists and anonymous opinions are abundant. Regardless, I'm sure Scorpion mains were punching drywall in the 90s instead of being obnoxious on Twitter for the world to see and Reddit to cry about. Same sh*t, different smell.scorpion wasn't in base mk3, nobody cared

More or less. Technically he wasn't in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces as far as I know. You know who hasn't missed an MK game since he was excluded in MK3? Scorpion. Mortal Kombat was a phenomenon back in 1995. There were comics, collectible cards, the first film came out (with codes for Mortal Kombat 3 in it); there was even a live action show touring the US.Yes, Scorpion being excluded in 1995 when MK was barely an established series and had existed for less than three years...
