Because I remember NRS in mk9 days actually stating that Cyber Sub's robo-body is that which was originally meant for smoke (and wad Smoke's robo-body in the original timeline).
Something else to note is that Cyber sub is the default look for Tri-Borg in the first kp2 trailer, where he grabs Sektor's head.

kool? sounds like cyber sub. My theory is bi-han, with the power of duplication, mind you, used the abandoned Cyber Initiative to create a one-man army. that would be awesome and we could be seeing both noob and the robots in mk11
