good point. I prefer 2-3 craply Mileena moves in Kitanas custom abilities over Mileena being in the roster tho. Just ignore the crap moves

Cause she can teleport without them. Her parry is literally a teleport. They gave her that move for looks.

I'm not a fan (HAHAHAHA PUNS!!!), as with the Mournful variation, it's like NRS just can't come up with enough original and unique moves for her to fill out a new variation/moveset. Also, whether you think it is justified or not, it does affect a lot of fans negatively, more so the fans of those whose moves were given to Kitana, though I have seen Kitana fans be dissatisfied about it as well.

Though I don't think it is inherently bad, it is just disappointing for several reasons. Borrowing moves isn't anything new in the MK franchise though, but I would personally prefer if they at least tried to get away from that and make the characters as unique from one another as possible. When each character has so many moves each, I can understand it is kinda hard to do though.

He made that assumtion out of air. The only character getting his powers from a weapon is Kenshi, and not all of theme come from the sword.

If anything, its Mileena that gave the sai power considering she can just summon them whenever she wants

Even if they hated each other, it makes sense that she has the sai. I feel like it's going to be the new meta for Kitana in every game. Every ninja who sits out, she'll have one of their moves.

I think this game would be the best one to use Khameleon with the kustom variations and give her moves from Mileena, Sindel, Tanya and the 3D female characters we might not see anytime soon.

I think it's an awful practice. It's pretty much NRS saying their characters are interchangeable. "X character is not there, but don't worry, we gave some of it's moves to Y, it's the same thing."

I don't think it's necessarily bad, but I do think its in bad taste. People wouldn't be happy with Kung Lao getting bicycle kick and dragon fireballs if Liu Kang was sitting out a game, kind of devalue's the other character.

She doesn't actually have any mileena moves though, just one move that is kind of like one of Mileenas.
