I noticed a few differences in the video and just want to confirm which party is right. How'd you find the data @Pig Of The Hut

High damage 50/50 based characters should have the safety of MOS Ermac, not be rewarded with safety or being plus when your opponent guesses right.

Regardless of tiers and whatnot, this is actually a very informative video, kudos to Pig for making this, and it explains in a dynamic, light hearted way, this is a very good thing to people to learn more about the game, i wouldn't mind more of those, talking about other characters as well.

yes he can use meter to make him plus, i simply respect it then wait and blow up with armor or punish when he steps out of line, like any other character. or i simply keep him out of OH range.

no matter if its about cyrax.

he does have the options to do what pig said in vid, but not to the degree he stated.

he will never have that much bar to do that. when someone plays against him correctly it will take him a round to gain 2 bars, best case senerio for Kano

It's cool that you vouche for him, I have no idea who you are, I have never seen you in tournament, and I have never played against you online. It literally means nothing to me lol.

All his other videos have similar gameplay. I posted that he can post another one where he plays better.

seriously what do i have to gain from downplaying a character i don't use, i never use CT, i occasionally play some sets with Cyber. im telling you i have zero problems against him.

One thing I will say is that Kano's EX Buff is slightly a risk reward. The damage he takes honestly can't be ignored, its ~15%, thats more than a throw, and he uses a bar.

When Kano does EX Buff, yes you're forced to hold some pressure in most cases, but if you block it you should consider it that you just threw him. The risk reward is definitely in Kano's favour, since if he hits you afterwards you'll eat more than 15%, but still that damage he takes shouldn't really be ignored.

Did I win in my video? Any way the point was to get other Kano mainers to show off doing parrying for the wins. I was trying to get a parrying thread going in but it not popular atm. Plus thats a couple months old.

When Kano does EX Buff, yes you're forced to hold some pressure in most cases, but if you block it you should consider it that you just threw him. The risk reward is definitely in Kano's favour, since if he hits you afterwards you'll eat more than 15%, but still that damage he takes shouldn't really be ignored.

In most situations you can end a string in EX knives and get almost the same amount of pressure as EX Buff(EX Knives are +9) so you dont have to take that risk often(the exception is off of 4 EX Buff because that guarantees a 50/50, but its still not worth the risk imo).

Most of the time you use EX buff during a combo and get enough of a damage boost to make the 15% worth it. Either that or you are using it for the anti-wakeup tech. That is worth it to me because it makes my opponents hesitant to wakeup and leaves me the ability to pressure them on knockdown more freely.

Also that is the only real risk CT needs to take, which when compared to most characters is pretty good.

Video is fine, either somebody knew about CT Kano tools or not.
