I understand, Gross does seem to have a lot of GL tech while denzell seems to rely more on his Fg skills in general.

I kind of agree with this a lot. Why I don't talk about matchup charts too much. I'm more interested in strategies you use to win a matchup.

Dude... this logic doesn't work. First of all, DJT and Gross would have to play a TON of games before they can get an idea of the MU (not a first to 10 or a first to 20). Secondly, when has anyone actually done this? King talks alot, but his non main characters (Grundy, Flash, Sinestro) have never been seen winning a game. King is good, but the idea that he gets to talk about his alts as being a part of determining the MU is dumb.

You can't really say anything about my alts that you seen one match.

First of all I'm a firm believer in -if you never played somebody yourself, you can't really have an opinion if they're good or bad-

Second I'm also a firm believer in -you absolutely CANNOT judge somebody off of one or two games-

Anyways moving on from that, it's very possible for somebody to play their alts in certain matchups better than some people play their mains. For example M2Dave played P2W's Deathstoke with Zod and they were going back and forth, the score was like 30-20 M2Daves favor. I played P2W's Deathstroke with Zod, I beat him like 20-2. So is my Zod better than M2Daves Zod over all? Probably not. But I'm better at the Deathstoke matchup for sure. I can give many more examples, that's just one of many.

But the point is some people can be be better with their alts in certain matchups than people who main the character

The Skype Illuminati are sort of like the nWo. They're tweeners, not necessarily faces. So someone feuding with them doesn't automatically make him a heel. It depends on the context. For instance, Murk was definitely a heel. Denzell might be Goldberg or Sting.
