Nutpunch is 100% back. You can tell he inputs the commands manually (i.e. it's not a grab animation or anything) because of the erratic movement right before it.

Watching the trailer a few times... I'm pretty happy with this announcement.

Yeah um, honestly, and this is from someone who prefers MK9 a majority of the time... I think he looks best in the 3rd pic. (He'd look even better shirtless and with his tattoo on display)

First off, I just wanna say that the trailer was hype af and they really went all out on making JC look like so much fun! I love how they incorporated his movies and props into the game with camera flashes, throwing sunglasses, ninja mime parries, calling in his stunt double, etc. And of course that fucking fatality was the funniest one I've ever seen!!!

Now for my nitpick,

what was up with his fireballs? They looked so... skinny? He losing his connection to the god cult powers or what?

his model in MK11 is way better than MKX ... that allusion on his fatality, it's a direct hint to that famous "3-head" fatality bug he had in classical MK1 .... fucking gorgeous priceless, NRS outdid this time with Johnny Cage !

I actually really liked that. It's like they're little afterthoughts he's tossing at you without putting that much effort into it -- further adds to his personality. It's like he's teasing you, almost.
