by itself no cause the frames havent change but ive find that doing s4 into burning hammer connect more often now pretty much everytime.
Meh one of the reasons I left was cuz I hated jump ins lmao how is anti airing going for you? Any better? Still hard to contest kabal, Kitana, etc jump ins?

well listen those characters and shang and lao ,geras etc. are hard to anti air no matter what with jax and i dont think this will change anytime soon but to be fair its hard for most of the cast too. Kollector and dvorah have godlike anti airs that can deal with most shit.

MK11 have an anti air problem in general. sub j1 is also godlike.

Yeah that’s my point anti airs are part of why I left. Those characters are just the main offenders. Thanks for the info, I’ll wait
 
Is it possible to use bf4 as an anti air since anti air throws have been buffed?
It's just way faster to reactively s1 than to reactively do bf4 in response to their jump in. I feel doing bf4 on reaction is low-key impossible if opponent jump ins are done at any distance less than neutral starting position. Anti-airing against characters with good jump kicks requires a read still for the most part imo, which isn't that hoard because literally 90% of KL players jump once they get in the corner.

His bf4 is still basically rarely used imo cuz it puts the opponent pretty far which sucks.Screen position and corner carry I feel is the most important goal Jax needs in a match above all other things, which is why I don't use bf4. It does good damage if your trying to win in a low health situation.

I mean.. if he had more ways to cancel into it. s4 bf4 is fucking shit because a) s4 is 13f b) it's a high so if you drop the punish you can get d2 kb'd and c) if you don't get d2 kb'd bf4 has like 40 frames of whiff recovery so still, ggs.
It doesn't have much utility, and I feel like building any kind of muscle memory to start doing s4 bf4 consistently is really not a good idea because bf4 is so horrendous on whiff.

Yea s4 is one of those buttons I don't press as any character cuz it's always a slow high that's sometimes okay for Antiairing.
