It's the best when people finally think they are in and then you pop them in the mouth with a string and dish out the big damage haha.
It's especially satisfying when they block f14~db2 and they don't know that's +11 and go to do something again and you're already in the process of hitting them with a full combo starter. They're like, "DAT'S PLUS?" and then when you tell 'em it's +11, "OMFG!"

I know right? I always help them out and tell them just crouch man, then bop overheads hahaha.

Hey! She is still awesome :) Just not something I would main. I really dislike her backwalk and frontwalk animation :p
Those are two of the most badass things about this character to me, after bf4 and the x-ray hypefest. @.@ Am I whack or is it just him gais?

She is a zoner for the most part, the only character I've really come across who's zoning can give her a hard time is Quan Chi, and that's only if you don't know what to do against it really. If you want someone great for anti-zoning, Sub-Zero seems to be the way to go if I'm going to be honest.
No, Kenshi out zone her, Liu kang out zone her and Kano out zone her. It may be more too. Full auto is not as great as it look at zoning.

I actually agree with this. People aren't playing against her "zoning" game right now. I don't think Jacqui's zoning is that good at all, and it'll be shown in the long run.

I do think she is a great character and being massively overlooked right now, but it isn't because of her strong zoning.

Yea, I have to agree. Every kano variation has better zoning. Liu Kang can outzone her as well.
But then again, this is from my experience with Full Auto and I rarely use that variation.
Yea I think over time her FA variation will be used less for "zoning", and more for getting in with the zoning tools. In specific matchups against characters weak to zoning she'll be able to hold them off pretty well, but against strong zoners she'll use it to get within range to pressure them since they still have to respect it.

I play a Liu Kang/Goro/Reptile almost daily, and the only two characters I'm really playing is Kano and Jacqui. Goro can be zoned out, but I've had a much easier time zoning with Kano than Jacqui against Liu and Reptile.

And I agree from earlier, Kano is a fucking problem lol.

I feel Jacqui Full auto will get nerfed. That's why i'm hoping Nrs understand Jacqui needs a little more damage in shotgun and high-tech because her reach is bad in both.

I need someone to help me test something a little later. I was fooling around with corner stuff with Full Auto Jacqui and thought of an Earth Shake-esque type thing to try and blow up armored wake ups (if it's fast enough) or to really throw off the person's blocking.

Just keep in mind that this requires meter, so it may not actually be viable whatsoever depending on whether or not it can beat armored wakeups. It might even be already known, too.

As anyone who plays Full Auto knows, you can do EX db3 and hold the 3 to delay its explosion. Here's what I'm doing: Hard knockdown in the corner, EX db3 (delayed explosion), b2 and then detonate. It's two hits at a ridiculous speed. However, we all know her b2 is pretty slow to start up, which is why I want someone to practice with as I don't want to keep fiddling with the AI.

This is and is NOT able to be converted. It all depends what you do. You get to decide which hits first: the overhead or the low. If you let the overhead hit first and then detonate, you can do 11~bf4 for 31%. If you let the low hit first and then the overhead, I don't believe you can combo off of it as the person falls too fast. Either way, this can be ridiculously hard to block because it's almost an instant overhead/low depending on what you do first.

I didn't test this on any female characters, but I'm sure it probably won't work as in the corner, db3 doesn't land on female characters.

This probably won't be viable at all, but it was just something I was fooling around with and felt like putting it out there. Don't blow me up if this is butt-butt, please. :p

Lol actually it works. I was experimenting with this as well. You have to land the overhead first for a combo. The low hitting before the overhead just gives 18% damage if I remember correctly.

In actually matches, on knockdown you can time the OH/Low to beat out certain characters wakeups. So the only option they'll have is to block both or get combo'd. I'm still trying to get the timing down absolute, but I see no reason why in some of her MU's this wouldn't be a dominant tool.

A couple of characters wakeups are harder to do it on than others, Goro absorbs two hits with Punchwalk, and it doesn't work on female characters, but other than that it's good. So it'll be MU dependent but a very good thing to catch people with.

This is also a good meterless option in the corner if they have no meter to wake up with.

It changes entirely, however since you're not using meter, but you can confirm off of it.

You can check them with b2~db3 for an overhead to low. This is how I originally thought of the idea, lol.

If her b2 was slightly faster, I think she would be absolutely nuts in the corner if the opponent didn't gave meter to wake up with.

It just sucks that some characters have such fast wakeups that they don't always need meter to get out of pressure.

What is her best option to stuff non metered wakeups?

Yeah, the MB.db3 whiffs on females in the corner. It can mess up male characters, though.

To echo whats been said, the setup not only doesn't work on female characters, but also doesn't even work on all male characters, and the ones that it does, is inconsistent.

One of Jacqui's biggest problems is the amount of inconsistency with combos and setups for characters based on distance from them and gender. That's why I only go for stuff that hits everybody 99% of the time, even if that means sacrificing 5% of damage.

I need guaranteed damage and I don't want to think about individual character specific combos and setups when fighting at a top 8 in a major. There are way to many other things that you should be worried about in the meta.

I know what you mean. I pretty much stick to her 30% meterless and 1 bar 37/40% combos. I don't try anything fancy.

Similar to something I'm working on. Same idea, but you're doing b2 in the corner.

You can cancel from that B2 into something - though with full auto I have no idea what. Couldn't you just cancel into another db3 EX if you have meter?

Another thing to test out with DB3 EX is how long you can hold it and if it can detonate while getting hit like Sonya's grenades. 'cause I'd certainly keep my thumb on 3 for 30 seconds to have a 1 meter breaker.

It automatically detonates after a few seconds. You can cancel b2 into db2 (up rocket) and probably some other specials, but I don't think it would do much unless you opted to let the overhead hit first and then the low so the b2 would connect, thus cancelling into the db2. Whether or not you could combo off of that is beyond me, however. I'd have to test it out.

Yeah I don't want to fire up the lab at this point or else I'd be late for work.

I understand why they didn't give us permarocket but damn that woulda been amazing. I'd probably still use it but more as a landmine than anything.
