Fatalities

I don't have a problem with fatalities, but I think it is bad etiquette to use this after an online ranked match, it's hard enough trying to get a game with all the desync issues. I play alot of Scorpions online and i'm getting so sick of seeing the same fatalities. From what alot of you are saying if a player wins they are allowed to shove it in the opponents face, doesn't seem very sportsman like, it's not as if we're going to see Chris. G jump out of his chair and scream in the opponents face, this is how I feel about fatalities. People can play whoever and however they like but can we cut down on the Fatalities.

I never fatality quit. I do get a little confused when I play someone with 1000+ wins and they do their fatality... they've literally probably seen it 1000 times. Pesonally I'm bored with them though and I never do them.

However, I will always rage quit to teabagging / jumping around / wasting time. It's too unsportsman like (even though my quitting is too) and I'm not sticking around to watch it.

Unsportsmanlike or not its still their win and they can do whatever they want.

I love playing as Kano because I can just do his Choke or Ex Choke as my fatality. Not only is it a lot quicker, but he calls you a bitch and spits on you! Much better than any fatality in my opinion. On a side note, I strictly play only KOTH matches and people will give you lower (or zero) respect points for not doing a fatality. Somehow in the xbox live community being able to input your fatality command has become a symbol of player skill. It sucks, because I never do fatalities (for the above reason).

I think ragequitting over a fatality is unnecessary.

1. It's MK, fatalities belong to MK.
2. Win if you hate to be fatalitized.
3. If the opponent does the same fatality over and over, which is really boring i know, you can also choose "no" in the "play again" screen.

If you have enough time to waste it on MK online, i think you can afford waiting out a little fatality to get out "the cool way"
Nah, I think thats not true. Hes not rage quitting, hes simply tired of watching the fatalities. Just because something belongs doesn't mean it should be done over and over. People do get tired of it. And sometimes, that person is on another level than you are.

I think whoever does fatalities are scrubs and are bad mannered =/= trying to rub the win in your face. I'm talking about the ones that do the same god damn one over and over. Scorpions, Sub Zeros, Raidens, Smokes, etc. Those common characters need to NOT be using fatalities, because its being used too many times.

Wow really? Half of the PSN users just seem to give you low or zeros all the time. I've had people give me 10s while in line, then they lose to me and it goes to zero...

Ha! Don't get me wrong, it's the same way on xbox live. But there is a definite drop in respect if you don't do a fatality. You can ever hear people comment that you didn't do a fatality so you get a 2 or whatever.

I think its unsportsmanlike to quit during a fight period. I suppose you could say the same about fatalities. The difference being fatalities are apart of the game, rage quitting is on you. Just simply say no when you are asked for a rematch. Really not that big of a deal. I love jumping into random KOTH rooms where i win not doing a fatality and everyone gives me zeros. So one by one they step up to fight and I fatality everyone of them lol. I wouldn't care if they didn't give me anything, but they deliberately gave me a zero. Each to there own, but we will always have to deal with fatalitys sometimes I will do one just cause I haven't in a while.

I don't have a problem with fatalities. I don't see how someone can't be patient enough to sit through ten seconds of something but I guess it's just opinion.

Now teabagging, that pisses me off.

Fatalities has always been a part of Mortal Kombat and as entertaining as it is to watch a handful of times, it does get very repetitive and annoying when you see over and over and over again. Finding games is already a time consuming and if you accumulate the time wasted watching fatalities, it definitely takes away from the joy of actually playing the game.

What I feel NRS should do in future games is to give the loser and option to skip the animation and go back to search for games screen, if the winner wants to see the fatality for the millionth time, he/she can do so at their leisure.

I never skip fatalities on my opponent. They are just doing what they expect to do after winning in MORTAL KOMBAT.

But here is how matches go for me out of 4 scenarios:
1. They fatality, I wait and just be respectful.
2. They poke me or hit me with an uppercut/special to quickly end the match
3. They 'teabag' me by jumping around, constantly shifting stance, constantly crounching or doing some special where it cant hit. I quit at this point.
4. They do an elaborate special set up. This one I do 50/50 on. If I know they will do it I let them but I usually misatke it for teabagging. Example is Sub-Zero setting up a clone and kicking you into it for the last move.

You know, I don't mind people quitting, as in actually leaving a game, But when people plug thats a complete different story...

Fatalities may get boring after a while but babalities never will.
Damn shame people quit when I do them too.

It would be cool if you could input a command that will make you fall over or otherwise 'end it quick' like some kind of fast suicide/harakiri before your opponent gets a chance at fatality.

I have 2500+ games and I did 2 times fatlity, and it was by coincidence lol. I don't know a single input for fatality.

But if someone else is doing fatalitys against me, I am usually just thinking what I did wrong and how to improve while fatality has been performed.
If he starts jumping or just changing stance, I get more motivation to win next round since I know that person is either emo kid or asshole.

Ill do fatalities untill I get the required amount for each char to master.Once I get the mastery I quit doing them for said char.

learn and spread this kode:

227-227
(kunai,kunai,goro-kunai,kunai,goro)

it's very similar to zombie mode (666-666) but it won't alter character appearance
when the match is over the loser will simply explode without "finish him!"
