Builds don't matter to me. Sure, I was way off base with the timer, but I still think it's fair to critique the philosophy of their design--not ridicule, critique. And I still have concerns about that. Testing doesn't really matter that much either. It might find glitches and bugs(It won't find all of them), but it won't make the designers go in new directions.
We all know that balance actually only matters to a small % of their users, and that the game is going to do 3 million+ units, but I'd still like for the game to make some logical sense, and not just be a clusterfuck. Either way, I'm more prepared for what I'm getting into this time, as opposed to with MK9, because I've been playing Virtua Fighter. So I no longer really approach NRS games as 2d games, and that has helped me come to terms with their design philosophy.
