Work Hard Play Hard
That air dash is raw. It looks like his cables are grabbing on to something. Maybe his ship?
He's not the first non-super powered character in an NRS game to get a teleport. It looks pretty cool though. So Green Arrow is not a Metahuman but he can teleport now. I bet his boxing glove arrow is just gear.
Brainiac looks great especially his Super!!!
this looks like Blanka's shock move. Maybe this is parry?Seriously, though. look at these tools!
He's got mobility:
Whatever the fuck this is:
I'm thinking either parry or some sort of delayed launcher, like Predator's self destruct.this looks like Blanka's shock move. Maybe this is parry?
Star Lord for dlc? Im game. Then Lansdown is the Peter Quill of the FGC.
Oh no I completely get it. Competitive gamers for nrs make up 0.01% if that of the entire game salesI agree, but that is fun for some people.
Not me, personally, but some gamers actively seek out "time sinks"... RPGs with 100+ hours of content to dive into. That's actually why I think INJ2 will sell like hotcakes...The gear system has "fun and casual" written all over it and the "collect-athon" aspect of it, will keep non-competitive players grinding and happy for a long time.
That's important, since they're basically footing the bill for the rest of us.
I would urge any of you that want to play with gear moves, open up casual matches once and a while. If you have the time to spend, why not?
I'd say all that variation/gear grinding/stat climbing stuff will eventually get old and frustrating thus polarizing a majority of casuals. Only very loyal fans and serious gamers will utilize the gear system after about a year and stand on some very uniquely, high powered gear loadouts. If the gear systems are truly as unbalanced as some of us speculate, inj2 gear mode would be the equivalent of The Division's DZ pvp modeIt's not the moves I'm talking about. The moves aren't available because gear isn't in tourney so idc about the moves in that light. But if I wanna play with those moves, I have to deal with what people have unlocked that I don't know shit about. Can I lab moves I haven't unlocked? How much damage would this combo do? How much does this defense number matter in my damage output? How much extra damage should I expect to take? What does that cape do? What about those boots, the helmet, that shirt? There are way too many variables that I could never learn about in a gear match. I do not want to deal with fighting against shit I do not know. Gear moves are cool I guess, but the other shit that comes with them...I don't wanna fuck with
Looks like Kitana's Assassin parry, except Brainiac's launches.this looks like Blanka's shock move. Maybe this is parry?
i wish i could like this more than onceYou guys know you're allowed to play with gear moves right, like, not every match you play on your couch has to be tournament standard.
Just used my tentacle last night.Aren't we all?
I understand the feeling 100%. The thing to remember though is, to the great majority of people buying this game, that doesn't matter. Most people will grind player matches and story mode, so to them, there's little difference between a gear move and a base move. It's all in the same game.Whether you are for or against gear, it's still annoying having gear-specific moves in the trailers. It feels kind of scummy, like the character is being purposefully misrepresented. Just my 2 cents.
Tentacle nipple clamps tentacle throat scope.I can't wait for all the Brainiac ship Supergirl content on deviantart.
