Yeah even though there all Batman characters, Nightwing, Red Robin, and Red Hood would all offer more diversity gameplay wise than Starfire. I'll classify her as that because that's what she is lol.

It will be someone highly demanded as a few days ago on the dc all access stream he said something along the lines of "I can't tell you who they are, but if your wondering why some very obvious/popular names aren't on the roster you'll be seeing them as dlc, maybe along with a few guests..."

So my guess would be going from earlier polls the most populars are red hood, black manta, star fire, and probably Constantine. It has to be one of them revealed for sure.

Bro, you aren't gonna catch me fanboying over Starfire or defending her non-trash status lol. Of all the female heroes we could add, she is actually realistically a distant 8th for me probably, but I would not be at all shocked if she did get a slot. I just don't think that "lul more of Batman's sidekicks will add more than Starfire ever could to the game" is a thing, it's just fanboy bias.

I like your list mostly, Raven and Martian Manhunter would be excellent returns. I loved their zoning and it would be nice to have a balanced Martian Manhunter that wasn't a swiss army knife.

I have a list of DLC characters in my head I'd want, but if I were to just get Vixen, I wouldn't even care about the rest of the list haha. She was my second request behind Blue Beetle.

I've kind of accepted none of the four characters I played last game will be gracing this game most likely (Hawkgirl, Raven, Doomsday or Martian).

Watchmen should NEVER be cheapened with crossovers, but given that DC cannot seem to resist defiling its corpse you will probably get your wish.

Dude, I'd pick any turtle over Starfire or Beast Boy lol. Just imagining the gear for them, vintage TMNT movies, cartoons, comics as well as 2003 series, current series or current movies....man the possibilities! I know it's a long shot but man, I'd wish NRS would just make a TMNT fighting game. Totally fits with their style...

But for DC, I'd love to see Red Hood, Rorschach, Artemis, Constantine, Plastic Man, Telos, Star Sapphire, Hawkgirl, The Atom, The Spectre(even though powerwise he'd murk everyone), Weather Wizard(if they made him like the show's version he'd be awesome)

For guest DLC: Sub-Zero, Spawn, any TMNT(though preferably Raph or Leo) and Captain Planet

Yes, moveset wise, Batman's sidekicks would add more than Starfire. Full bias too I'll admit it, I love Batman, all the Batman characters are super well developed and fleshed out. Only reason people like Starfire is because she has her flesh out. Yeah I want my favorite characters in the game...

The Deadman/Nightwing combo wouldn't be just another sidekick. Take the best acrobat in the world with the Deadman's powers and you have a pretty lit moveset.

Red Hood would play different than the Batman characters, he could have the same martial arts like them, plus guns, and sometimes Jason Todd is portrayed as having some kind of connection to magic.

The Red Robin would have the staff and could move similar to how Drake does in the Arkham games with a bullet shield in the staff, the snap flash, and and be more of a hit and run type character. Drake is arguably the smartest Robin and would have more technology type moves than the others.

Yes, moveset wise I stand by those three being better than hand lasers, eye lasers, and tits

My attempt at guessing all 9: Red Hood, Starfire, Vixen, Black Manta, Ares, Hawkman, Spawn, The Comedian, Sub-Zero

Left off Constantine and Plastic Man b/c of the focus on gear with this game; Constantine doesn't really have any variation and Plastic Man might have too many animation challenges with gear sets. Chose The Comedian as the Watchmen rep for the same reason. Hawkman is mostly wishful thinking but he would have some wicked awesome gear sets too.
