I generally use Ninjutsu against GM and have good success. Ninjutsu has far better buttons in the neutral and the swords will go through the clone. If he tries to ice ball, ex teleport him everytime on reaction. Luckily his armored takedown is fast enough to stop him from completely murdering u in the corner tho he can jump on u so be aware of that. Even tho the swords go through the clone he can walk back and if not spaced right ur screwed and u will freeze. If he jumps over the clone f2 will aa him everytime. Don't b2 through the clone as Scorpion moves forward each time and watch the spacing. Spacing must be sharp if u r to beat him. If Sub jumps at u, d2 and s3 r great AA buttons

Yea man when I picked up unbreakable it felt great being able to expose those grandmasters, I've never had such easy matches against grandmaster before I picked up unbreakable, when their neutral doesn't work against you they get so lost

Also: after my first ever hour in the lab with Unbreakable, I am not disappointed at all.
This new meta was MADE for a character like this to thrive in.

Yeah but you're not giving him anything with this challenge. A lot of people challenge him just to play him.

Give him a reason to play you. Let the lord know what match up experience you could provide, or something.

I agree with this for the most part but I think Scorpion is even, I think we murder Smoke, we beat all of Liu Kang's variations, all of Kotal's variations, all of Reptile's variations, I doubt we lose to Hat Trick Lao, or Master of Souls, I think Jacqui is even but that one is definitely debatable.

Imposter has that armored shoulder still, from what I played. So he can get out of corner, can use hell sparks to anti air sub's head fist jump in. Just his tele and snare is crazy, it's like Mystic's reach, but if it misses you'll get sent to the corner.

Kenshi tho, Tom has knowledge of that MU, don't know if he plays imposter players.

I have trouble with the knives and pokes. I'm still learning that MU along with Commando.

I saw Madzin play a cybernetic player at SCR, (I forgot the name) he did pretty well but bad reads against a good Sub is the worst feeling.

I don't have problem with those bold fellas. Have beaten them. Smoke has some weaknesses, as well as Kotal Khan with all his variations.

Scorpion is quite so simple, but be careful for his BFRC. He'll try to get ya off guard. I always block till I find the chance to catch him. When I do my Ice Klone, I'm always in FRONT of my Ice Klone, since his chain-kunai is a middle, and doesn't hit Sub Zero at all, if not being duck blocked. Why in FRONT of my Ice Klone? To prevent him to do the teleportation.

Kung Lao is also the worst MU as of this patch. He's way faster than in Pre-patch. I didn't stand a chance to beat him. Played a while ago with @AcMilan91 's friend from Croatia, who mained him.

Summoner Quan used to beat Sub Zero due of his beams. Now I don't know his meta-patch MU. Will need to investigate it again. I played him pre-patch with a Greek fella in MKXL Beta.

As for the rest, I don't have much experience.

This is the very reason why it's taken so long for all this to come to be.
Because I've always wanted this fight...but I knew that without something to offer in return (aside from a $100 bounty on my pretty Boxly head), it would be just another flash in the pan. Another blip on the radar...

...But I have that covered, too.

what about displacer Raiden against grand master, in my opinion I think displacer dominates this matchup considering displacer can't be trapped in the Conner by grandmaster and midscreen GM will be afraid to spam those clones because of ex tele and when it come to midscreen pressure or controling space displacer wins .

Look for tendacies dont just rely on the character remember the character is only as good as the player know your tools dont matter how good something is if your bad at using it effectively just going to shoot yourself in the foot also keep calm in battle think as clearly as you can on your next move clone drains the momentum of battle understand that and dont panic when your face with the corner its a guess for both of you dont be obvious and dont make it easy make him work for it. But Sub-Zero was always my #2.
And for the years of character identity crisis that game put me through, those two spots never changed.
My home has always been and will always be under the banner of the Lin Kuei.

You know, *I* remember a time when you fought for The Netherrealm with Lord Quan Chi.

Not that I'm bitter or anything. Moving on, I think Sorcerer Quan Chi does quite well vs Grandmaster. It's most likely a 5-5, the idea being that you put him in your ridiculous corner bullshit before he did the same to you. Like a bullshit race, so to speak.

Warlock, only in my opinion, beat Grandmaster before the patch. With his "armor" the way it is now tho, maybe not.
